The shoes did not come in a box. Red flag number one. They were bigger than stated. Now they are delaying the refund for some unknown reason. I would not buy from this company again.

Brooks shoes are worth every penny. Comfortable, stylish, long lasting. I have all sorts of problems with my feet, and these shoes alleviate all sorts of discomfort and allow me to exercise with minimal pain. I have other brands of tennis shoes, but they are for "fashion only". Brooks shoes are my go to for working out and walking daily! ... show more

    • I Wouldn't Call This A Support Shoe

This model of Brooks shoe is beautiful and offers so many colors from which to chose, but the quality just isn't there. I took one look at them out of the box and decided to return them. The material is just flimsy. They don't appear to be much different than the pair of Brooks Ghost shoes that I bought a few years ago. The softness and cushioning are there, but the material at the toe box is loose and thin; and the sides of the shoe don't have much for reinforcement that would indicate to me that they are supportive in any way. My very first impression is that my big toe would bust through the material in a few months and the material would tear at the side from the sole in under six months. I bought my mom some Brooks Glycerin shoes, which appear to be superior to these. They offered better support and cushioning. We also have Asics Kayano-Gel 27 shoes, which ended up being a better buy, with regard to the quality of materials and support. These shoes would be great for comfort and walking, but I wouldn't run in in them if I had stability issues and I wouldn't count on them to last. I thought I would update my experience with these shoes. Every shoe guru out there keeps recommending these for my particular foot shape and stride, so I tried a different pair of Brooks Adrenaline shoes and gave them a few days of wearing. For some reason, Amazon won't let me leave more than one review for each shoe purchase, so I will add my experience here. I cannot even wear these shoes for half a day, because they make my feet tired. I think the cushioning is too mushy and it makes walking in them fatiguing. No amount of adjusting the laces improves this. I tried to tighten the shoe down with the laces to get a better response to movement, but it just made the cushioning put a sort of back pressure on my feet. They are just uncomfortable after a few hours. All the shoe gurus say that this is the shoe for me. I'm supposed to want a lot of cushioning and a little support, because I tend to supinate, but these shoes are not very responsive to movement. Even the top materials are soft and mushy. I just find them so fatiguing. I have had a few pairs of Brooks Ghost shoes and they work much better for me. I love my new Ghost 14 GTX shoes, but they are a much firmer. The cushioning is their, but it is stiffer. Both the sole and the materials are more firm and more responsive to movement. I find that they offer better support, although that is not what Brooks claims. ... show more

    • Can’t tell if I’m walking or FLOATING... 10/10
I am very impressed at the quality of this shoe. I never used to take much into consideration when looking to purchase athletic shoes; if they were under $50 that was good enough for me... But after having my second baby in the past 6 months and noticing some changes in my body, I started to take my fitness shoe shopping more seriously. I have always been a penny pincher when it comes to clothes, but I’m realizing now that when it comes to running shoes, it is a noticeable difference in quality and you really do get what you pay for... So I have had these pair of new balance shoes for about 3 years now and never had an issue with them until about 3 months after having my baby I tried doing some workouts in them and noticed weird foot cramps that I never had before... At first I just thought it was due to bad form or repetition or simply just being out of shape from having a baby and being slightly overweight... But anyways, it was getting to the point where the foot cramps would get so intense that it would linger the rest of the day... I do have flat feet and thought maybe that could be it too, but ultimately think it’s probably because the shoes are old and worn.. But whatever the case, as soon as I got these shoes in the mail, I tried them on and fell IN LOVE!!! I just went on my first loooong walk in these shoes the other day and let me just say that I will never buy any other running shoe again! This is it right here! I walked a total of 4.5 miles, pushing my 3 year old in his stroller and wearing my 6 month old on my chest in her baby carrier and I did not feel any tension or cramp in my feet or legs whatsoever! It literally felt like I was walking on a cloud, or simply floating on air. It was magical. I swear by these shoes that I will never buy another running shoe brand ever again. So to all those moms trying to get back into shape, this is the best shoe for that. I’ve never felt so motivated to work out and walk and actually ENJOY it too. 10/10 ... show more

    • I thought I was buying new shoes!
These were definitely not new. IF they were store samples that should've been listed in description. The color was not the same as photo. They were dirty and not new! The fabric was not firm like new shoe. The fabric had definitely tried to have been cleaned because I've seen how shoe fabric changed when washed/ cleaned with surface cleaner!
