We've celebrated this holiday yearly with corned beef, roasted veggies, and Irish baking powder bread, but I've had very little decorative greenery to spruce my home up with, for this holiday. Having an Irish ancestors, I've loved the stories that pointed to the wee folk and fairy tale theme that accompanies Saint Patrick's Day. This BlcTec Saint Patrick's Day garland set has brought trails of green shamrocks and a warm glow into my home. Needing only a few batteries each, the lights on this garland have a variety of glow styles and a touch of the control button over the battery compartment changes their shine pattern in seconds. When these lights are on, it's easy to feel a dusting of magic in the air; they help create a happy mood! Setting these two strands up couldn't have been easier. I opened the bags they come in, gently worked to free the strands from each one's own shamrocks and white berries so that they'd stretch out into a single strand of almost 10 ft. per garland. Then, I inserted 3 double A batteries into the power box, locked the snaps into the closed position and pressed the glow selection button on top until I found the one, I liked best. For decorating with them, I threaded the garland around my stairway posts and across my fireplace's mantle. However, I could have just as easily draped one over the center of piano top, or arranged a garland across one of the tables, across the family room's plant shelf, or over and around a door frame, etc. There are so very many ways to use this garland to bring the home's Saint Patrick's decorating to a warm glow. I love short strands of seasonal lights like this - it helps me get over my reluctance of taking down all the Christmas decorations. These will go around the mirror over the sofa in the living room. They work like a nightlight where other lights in the room aren't really needed. It's convenient that they run on batteries instead of needing to put them near an electric outlet. They are pretty even with the lights turned off because of all the foliage built into the strands. There's 8 light modes to suit most tastes but I don't care for flashing lights so I'll stick with steady. The only negative was the odor when I first opened the bag which dissapated after leaving them outside for a couple hours. Recommended ... show more

This is a really nice looking garland. It does not shed at all and I like the detail of both 3 and 4 leaf clovers. The garland is fairly fluffy compared to others so it hides the lights well. They used small plastic zip ties to keep the lights against the garland. I like the consideration, but also with they used something a tad nicer looking. Otherwise I really like this, however, I do think it's a bit pricey for what it is. ... show more

Love love the lights and the realistic looking leaves. We put them over the cabinets in the kitchen. Haven’t had time to test battery life, but they are led so I have hopes they’ll last awhile. Good value for the money.

This makes a nice St Patrick's day decoration. This has a number of different settings for the lights be we prefer it to be on constantly. It's easy to put the batteries in and hang up, we put it over some doors. It's a mix of 3 leaf and 4 leaf clovers, there's more 3 leaf so you have to look for the 4 leaf clovers. ... show more

The shamrocks and white flowers are nicely detailed on the garland, albeit not super realistic. The garland itself is sparse, and definitely should be fuller in appearance. The green lights are nice, and bright, and a pretty green. The lights require 3 AA’s (not included) and have various modes, but unfortunately no timer. I do like the garland, and plan to layer it with another to make it more full, and hopefully play down the plastic look a bit. I love decorating for St Patricks Day, and this will definitely be nice added to my decor. ... show more
