This is just what I need to use to drain my dehumidifier. I originally purchased a plastic hose from a local hardware store, but it kinked and water leaked or the dehumidifier shut itself off due to water backup. So, I ordered this one and have not had any problems at all.

I bought this to connect a barn hydrant to an outdoor sink after the garden hose connector bulged and blew up. This one seems well made, the connections work really well and the hose is more flexible than I expected. I thought it would be like electrical conduit, which is very stiff. May not seal if the female connection is deeper than 4 threads. The issue here is the short male end threads, only three threads. If your female has 4 or more then, you may have to use 2 washers to compress tight enough to not leak. (Thankfully, they include 2 washers). Otherwise these are excellent. Very flexible and good looking. The 1 foot length is almost long enough to connect to itself. If you have a tight spot, you may want the 2ft. to make a really close (overlapping) connection. ... show more
