  • Cheep FAKE slippers - DO NOT BUY THESE!!!
Size: 8 Color: Tan
I can't believe they are selling these!! They are cheep China fakes. Using the outline of the item …. These are NOT 100% Suede - there is NO Suede at all - some type of synthetic something that is suppose to look like suede maybe??? These have nothing to do with SHEEP and everything to do with cheep CHINA fake crap!!!. Rubber Sole: These do NOT have a Rubber sole - they have a cheep plastic sole that does not flex. Shearling Lined: These are NOT Shearling lined but lined with cheep polyester something. I opened the box, took one look and knew they were something you would fine at the dollar store. I immediately went to my laptop and started the return process and printed the return label. I can't believe Amazon is allowing these to be sold on their site. What a shame! ... show more

  • 2x more expensive for 1/2 the quality
Size: 8 Color: Hickory Ii
Expensive and mid-range quality. The insoles wear thin in a couple of months. You can get a better pair at Target for half the price and they will last twice as long. I used to buy my slippers at Target and they'd last about 6-9 months. I wear them ALL THE TIME at home. When Target stopped carrying my favorite slippers, I bought Bear Paws. They're $40 instead of the $15 I used to pay at Target, so I had high expectations. Unfortunately, these BearPaw slippers wore thin on the insole in a couple of months. Thankfully, Target now has my favorite slippers back in stock. It seems like they get them around Christmas time and don't have them the rest of the year. I recommend you go to Target and buy these instead: Women's Chandra Suede Scuff Slippers - Mossimo Supply Co. (Go a size large, because the thick fur inside makes them run a bit small.) ... show more

  • Don’t use this seller !
Size: 11 Color: Hickory Ii
One of my slippers arrived and is clearly not made as well as the other. I’ve been wearing BearPaws for years and years & haven’t encountered this issue. I’d only had the slippers for several weeks and one slipper is practically brand new in appearance and structure, while the other is as pictured above. It’s totally falling apart. Contacting the seller was very disappointing. They simply said sorry that it was past 30 days. Disappointed in their business ethics! They must engage with counterfeit products since they’re unwilling to contact the manufacturer. They weren’t even interested in what the issue is! ... show more

  • Once the Best, Not Now
Size: 10 Color: Hickory
I loved these at first. I had a pair from about 3 years ago & they were great. Lasted a long time & I ended up putting insoles in as I loved them & still wear them. Bought a new pair & the fluff has changed. I bought these just about 2 weeks ago & already, there is a clumping of the fluff on the bed & they are uncomfortable to wear just because of that. I had to return as I could not put new insoles in as I did with my first pair but the clumping/matting was still there even with a nice, gel insole. There was no saving these. It's too bad that Bearpaw has ruined a once super-good slipper. The bed of this slipper is hard, with the fluff matted down & clumping, they are unwearable as well. I am trying the RJ's Fuzzy Leather slippers & so far, they feel good, the fluff is real wool which seems to have made a big difference. ... show more

  • Hope you like black feet and peeling soles...
Size: 10 Color: Black
... because--if you wear your slippers sans socks, like most people--you will end up with black feet. In other words, the black fur is dyed and the dye comes off, and keeps coming off, for six months now and counting! Fortunately, the dye on my feet does wash off. So, if you don't mind the dye transfer problem, these are really nice slippers. Because I have wide feet, I was a little concerned about the "medium" width of these slippers; but, I have had other suede slippers and I discovered that suede easily stretches to conform to your foot as did these slippers. If these slippers were made anywhere else but China--that is exactly where they are made--I wouldn't be bothered quite so much about the dye problem. However, I know absolutely nothing about what sort of chemicals were used to dye the fur! Are they safe for humans? Do they contain carcinogenic ingredients? I do know that I would NEVER allow any fur slippers from China to be worn by my children because of the dye problem and because there are no labels with any sort of disclosure information. I do wish that Amazon would practice a little due diligence about product information. As one of the world's largest merchants, it could do much to encourage complete product information for all products, and for the benefit of all customers. 12/2017: UPDATE FOR THESE EVEN-MORE UNSATISFACTORY SLIPPERS I have had these slippers for 1 year and, yes, the dye is still coming off the fur (black); not quite as much, but still noticeable. This week a new problem became evident: the soles of the slippers are peeling off--one layer at a time!! I was walking along the hall when I tripped. There was nothing in sight that would cause me to trip; but when I looked down at my slippers I noticed what I thought was a scrap of black paper sticking to the bottom of the sole. It was the shinny top layer of the sole on my slipper. I can't afford a fall, so I pulled the tattered layer off and checked the other slipper. Yes, it too was beginning to come loose. As of today I am missing 2 layers of sole on one slipper and 1 layer of sole on the second slipper. I have not worn these slippers outside, except to step into the garage on occasion, and I only wore them last year for about 6 months and just brought them out to wear this year in November--that's a total of 7 months max. I'm going back to Walmart's cheaper fur slipper; I got almost 3 yrs. of wear from them. ... show more

  • Very comfortable and warm!
Size: 8 Color: Hickory Ii
In my search for the perfect slippers, I ordered three different brands from Amazon, hoping one would work to replace my favorite suede slip-ons I buy from Target every couple of years. These Bearpaw Loki slippers were the pair I kept; they are super comfortable and cozy. The sizing was right on. I always wear size 8.5 in shoes and the size 8 slippers fit perfectly. They are nice looking with durable rubber soles. The quality is great, and they arrived nicely packaged in a shoe box. I personally would not ever pay $50 or $60 for a pair of slippers like Bearpaw sometimes sell for, but on sale for $27 these were a must have. Super pleased! ... show more
