When the lining is worn in. Love the wool lining. They can be worn all year. I think these are going to be great slippers/shoes for me. I have a bunion that really likes these shoes at the moment. The size 13 feels just a bit short, maybe. Again, have to wear them in. Just like my LL Bean, many years old, slippers. Tight at first, but well worth waiting for them to wear in. In fact this product has the same initial feel as my old slippers did new. But I really like the more sturdy soles of these shoes/slippers so I can wear them anywhere. ... show more

The color and quality are great but my husband wears a 13 and we ordered a 14. They are still snug. I know Bearpaw stretches and honestly, are my preferred winter shoe. However, he can't really enjoy the cushy because his feet can't move around. They just aren't long enough so size up a couple sizes. ... show more
