We've been using it for a week now and love it - only need a small drop to do the trick and we slide right into the boot! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to the total mess that it was when it arrived (as I'd seen in previous reviews prior to ordering). It was in a bubble wrap bag alone as a bottle - there was nothing to keep it from getting crushed, like a box. The bottle itself hadn't cracked so we were able to snip the corner of the bag it was in and funnel the spillage back into the bottle. I was a bit cautious using this product due to the slipperiness of the lube. It worked great getting into my double boot slalom ski and I was amazed at how quickly the lube dispersed after dropping off the swim deck into the water. I even applied a small amount into my ski gloves that are a bear to get on. I like that it states that it will not harm the neoprene in boots like shaving cream well. I would caution those who use it to double bag the bottle. It's a slick mess but manageable if stored in a gallon zip lock. I'd cringe if it leaked into the storage compartment in the boat. ... show more

This stuff is excellent. I’ve struggled to get into my bindings. Now I don’t. A squirt into toe and heel side and my gorilla feet slip right in. Then slide into the water and the stuff just dissolves away.

The product is fine, but as a previous reviewer stated, the lid is terrible. My cap stayed locked in the down position during shipping and it still leaked. Fortunately the seller had a poly bag around it. I transferred it all into my empty Boot Goo bottle (which they don't make anymore or I would have bought it instead). Also I couldn't help noticing that Boot Goo has the ingredients listed and also says 'not tested on animals.' Babe's Butter has neither of these. [Edit] After using this a few times, I've found I like this more than Boot Goo. It is a little thicker so I don't have to race to put my foot in the boot before it drips off the way I do with Boot Goo. But my comment about the crappy lid still stands. If it were in better packaging, I'd probably give it 5 stars. ... show more

Been using BABE'S for years for slalom ski boots. It is better than any other lubricant that I've tried. Get in boot and back off easier. Had some challenges over the years finding BABE'S. Glad Amazon is carrying in now.
