I have been using a small 10w diode laser for the last year doing small hobby projects, combining CNC and Lasers to make neat things for my friends and family. I've wanted to get into metal engraving and knew the fiber lasers would be the best option for this material. While researching, I saw a lot of great videos online about ComMarker's B4 laser series. I picked this 60W Mopa laser because it I thought it would be neat to learn about color marking on some materials. I've had it setup for a bit over a month now and have learned a lot. It is a great laser and performed great in all of the projects I've tried while learning about it... when you use the correct materials ;). I am using lightburn for the software, as it was what I use with my smaller diode laser. The speeds that you can use with this machine compared to the diode are awesome. ComMarker has been very helpful and quick to respond when I have reached out to them for questions before and after the purchase. Packaging was great, and there were no issues with shipping. You should ensure that someone is able to help carry the box though, as it is really big. While the price can be a bit of a scare, the performance makes up for it. I've yet to run into material that I haven't been able to get the desired result on with enough tinkering with the settings. It's a good buy for anyone wanting to get into laser cutting and laser etching.

The ComMarker B4 is a professional machine that is easy to assemble and use. I was able to start making laser projects 20 minutes out of the box. The JPT source is both presise and powerful, making engraving a breese. I had a question about the B4, and ComMarkers support was fast and professional.
