I have large feet, so I have a hard time finding shoes that fit and still look at all good. I can't buy in stores and my goal was to find a pair of light runners or trail walking shoes that weren't like bricks attached to my feet. (Skechers tennis shoes are more like boots and their ugly too.) Forget buying anything really sharp, cause they just won't have the size. These fit my 14W foot and the styling isn't bad. The heel is a bit bigger than hoped, but they fit really well and look pretty sharp. If you have the same problems, you'd probably like these. ... show more

I bought these Avia shoes mainly (I confess) for the look. This was the first time I have owned Avia shoes, and I was pleasantly surprised. I've been buying US size 12 in sneakers the last few years, and I wondered whether these Avia's would prove too narrow for my D width feet. Turned out they are wide enough. After breaking them in around the house on the first day, they have turned out to be one of my most comfortable shoes. The soles are flexible and overall the shoes are well-constructed.
