What’s there not to like, I make a living as a auto mechanic, and it’s so very difficult finding a good quality comfy work shoe, my feet and toes were killing me from my prior work shoes, so I took a chance on these , the minute I put them on as soon as I received them I felt a complete sense of relief, I ordered the 10.5 wide size, the only thing is they were a little to big my heel slides out of the shoe when walking more so on my left shoe, I don’t understand why it does that because I usually wear a size 11 or 10.5 wide other than that no other issues, so I wore them for my ten hour work day no pain all day, also the prior pain from my old shoes went away , I’m just worried a little about my foot can easily slide out as they wear, otherwise these probably are the most comfortable work shoes I have ever had for under $100 ! Well it’s been well over a month and still are probably the most comfortable working shoes I’ve ever own ,the only problem the shoes are sized to big , obviously, the shoes are not properly sized , I would like to eventually repurchase these shoes but not sure what size to get now because normally I’m a 10.5 wide or 11 regular as my 10.5 wide as I have received or much much too big. ... show more

I've been working in food service for less than two years and have gone through roughly six (6) pairs of shoes since then. I'm notoriously tough on shoes, wearing them out before they have a chance to see real use. But this has been the other way around: the shoes have been so uncomfortable that I've been getting rid of them before they break in! I've tried other types of sneaker styles, construction boots, and even kitchen clogs and each one has left me with a sore back, bunions, heel or arch pain, or a combination. But the Avia Anchor has become my new favorite pair! They are wide enough at the toes to allow for toe freedom (other brands seem to enjoy squeezing your foot together for hours at a time), have great cushioning (although I will admit to buying a thicker gel insert after a month), and a tread that simply refuses to get clogged up (several brands nearly had me skating across the floor because the tread would quickly gum up with food particles and offer zero slip resistance). Add to that a quick slip on or off and they are quickly becoming my favorite. The size is perfect, they are easy to wash and I don't catch myself wondering why my feet hurt. I really like this shoe. It's just what I wanted: slip on, ok in wet weather, decent insole, enough arch support, reputable tread/traction. I think this shoe has a rather elegant, Italian design to it -- surprising for a relatively inexpensive shoe. I had read that the insole wasn't good, but I find mine to have plenty of cushion and support. They are removable so a more preferred insole could be substituted. I usually use my own insoles, but have not found the need to do so in the couple of days that I've worn these shoes. They are a snug, but comfy fit in my normal size 8, normal width. I have not had them wet yet, so I did not rate that; nor, have I been on slippery surfaces where I could confirm their highly rated slip resistance. Appear to be well-made for this price range. Very comfortable and easy to put on. I ordered the same size as I usually wear in tennis shoes, and my feet slides right into them. But they do not slip on my heel as I walk. Good for the price.

Purchased these shoes because I work 11 hour shifts in a sushi restaurant. These are nice roomy and comfortable fit but the insoles are horrible. Makes my whole foot hurt from the toes to the heels and the sides of my feet for days. Just put some new inserts in so we will see Now I will say the non slip is amazing and better than the last new balance that I had and safety is pretty important so 1 star for insole comfort 5 star for the non slip. These are cheap enough that insoles are not a huge ask but they will be necessary. ... show more

If your trying to find good work shoes these have held up very greatly warning if you have naro feet or a archeted foot I have used these for walking fast food working no sliping falling have had these for about a year have not see the rube wear down yet or and sowing coming off I want with wide think it would be basic you can take the shoe pads out and get the foam pads I love these shoes ... show more

These were purchased for a Chef. So comfort and slip resistance is key! We found these “extra wide” and so happy because of the added insoles that are usually inserted. Yes at 6’4 a wide is need, and even with a high arch these are easily slipped on! The memory foam insole feels amazing !!! He has tried “Chef’s Clogs” and they were returned. ... show more

Lightweight, comfortable, not as sturdy as some cook footwear, so if you job requires you to do a lot of moving around, these might not be the shoe for you. But, if you job is slow paced, casual, there isn't a better choice. And the price is good!
