I don't really leave many reviews, but I felt this one was important. My son passed on Oct 26. He was 27 yrs old. So I had to look for a resting space. I was constantly drawn to this design. I felt like he was trying to show me how his world looks now. I came this one first. It's what caught my eye. I came across another urn with the same theme. It was $60 . I was completely confused on why the price difference was so drastic. When I took a closer look, I noticed that the tones were very muted, and the trim looked fairly cheap ( Very last photo for comparison) when I seen a post of a review with a photo and it claimed that it did not look anything like the pic it almost discouraged me from buying this product. The urn is absolutely beautiful, it's exactly what I was immediately attracted to . I also purchased the 4 keepsake urns, and the memorial guestbook. I'm writing this because the 2 different sellers sell 2 different products and I'm making the note that Yatskia has the $60 urn. This urn doesn't come close in quality and coloring. It is pretty, but it is a cheap version. Commemorate Cremation is the seller of this Urn which cost me $140. I did in fact get what I paid for, for the $60 buyers, you also got what you paid for. Please place your reviews on the right product and the right seller. If I didn't do my research between the 2, I wouldn't have purchased. My photos, the first 3 are my Urn 4th photo is my keepsake The last photo is the $60. Simply looking at the photos, it is very clear that they do not look the same. I recommend Commemorate Cremation and I received my urn overnight, as he came yesterday. I'm very pleased that there were other reviews saying the product was the same. The urn is beautiful just what I wanted BUT it has a smell to it that's horrible. It came very well packaged but even the cardboard boxes and the case the urn is stored has a terrible odor to it. I threw the cardboard boxes out immediately since it was smelling the house up. I tried washing the outside of the urn but that doesn't even help. Not sure what to do with the case because I don't think I'll be able to get the smell out of it. It's like a moldy, musty kind of smell. ... show more

My husband and I are in recovery. He just celebrated 8 years of sobriety and I celebrated 9. He has had the same sponsor since day one. That is until his sponsor passed away last year shortly after he was diagnosed with cancer. It broke my husband's heart. We were the closest thing to family that this man had so we got to bring his ashes home with us. My grandson, age 20, was murdered on Christmas Eve. I looked for that special urn for him. I looked at so many, but when I saw this one, it took my breath away. All the beautiful shades of blue (his favorite color) and the hint of sunlight on the top end just glistens in the light. Very well handcrafted. The urn was pretty. I put the ashes in and put the lid (screwed on). A couple days later I wanted to put some of the ashes in a necklace but the lid to the urn would not budge. I tried acetone around the edges ,rubber gloves, flat head screw driver with a mallot, hot water to lose it but nothing worked. I had to use a flat head screw driver with a hammer to pry it open. Now it's damaged around the lid. Company said I did not screw the lid on properly But It was on properly (no gaps...). Lost out of a new urn. BEWARE I would recommend one that doesn't screw the lid on top. There are other options. ... show more
