First unit from Atmor last just one month after 2 years warranty expired. I bought second unit and received used device. Received it in unsealed original box, not sealed box! I returned it without install it. Then I bought third unit from them, this time a bit stronger (27Kw), installed it ant after test it, I sent it back. Intake, ground water this time here in Texas was 75 degree F, but water from bathroom faucet was 104 degree F !!! When I open faucet in second bathroom, water temperature dropped to 98 F ! THAT'S IT!!!! I'll never ever do business with Atmor. Period! Returned for refund. Bought Rheem water heater on Ebay ,for better price than here on Amazon and there is no problem at all with this unit! ... show more

Very easy to install. Saved me lots of space as it's so compact, yet it still has enough power to heat 2 showers with good pressure. Max temperature is 122° but manual recommends to keep it at 118°. It's currently around 20° out so it takes it about 15 seconds to warm up... but it doesn't run out like my old tank heater! Overall, I'm very satisfied with the purchase. ... show more

    • Doesn't even turn on!
I've purchased this product a few months back, awaiting is installation because I needed to upgrade my main breaker panel due to the higher amperage required. I spent all weekend working on this and changing my old plumbing to PEX. I turn the water on and let all the air bleed out, turn my breakers on and nothing happened. The unit doesn't even turn on and I'm beyond my Amazon return date. Very disappointed in a brand new product that doesn't even work. I paid for electrician to install a hot water tank however it came to me broken and I had to pay the electrician to install a broken hot water tank I was very upset about it I lost money on this item because I had to pay the electrician to do it and he install a broken one

Had to upgrade the electrical panel and run new ground cables to use it and the water won't go above 104 in the dead of summer. Can't imagine what the temperature will be in winter.

This water heater does not maintain a constant temperature. The water temperature fluctuates from 105 to 147 degrees. Definitely not fun to take a shower with and unsafe for bathing children.

    • Two units died within a 1.5 years.
The first unit ran for 1 year, they replaced it. The second just died in the same way after another year. The main, internal breaker keeps poping. Basically, the main heater (there are three) keeps shorting. So each unit lasted only 1.5 years and died in the same way. Now AtmorUSA is out of business (their website is gone). So ... for USA customers, there is no more support for these that I could find. Too bad because I like the unit when it was working. ... show more
