This head bolt wrench is the perfect length for removing the head bolts from the deep wells on VW and Audi engines. The full length of the tool is 140mm (5.5”). Excluding the chrome socket base, the length is 102mm (4.0") The ATLIN cylinder head bolt tool is built to withstand high torque applications, it is crafted from hardened S2 tool steel, a material known for its extreme toughness and shock- resistance. S2 tool steel is primarily used in premium tools and outperforms other common alloys such as chrome vanadium. Use with a 1/2 inch square drive

    • Necessary to Remove Cylinder Head Bolts on VW 2.0
I bought a 2010 VW Tiguan 2.0 at auction that was a no start and no run. When I got it home, I found out that the valves were bent and that the cylinder head would have to be removed. I needed a special socket to remove the head bolts, and when I could not find that socket locally, I turned online and found these. These worked perfectly.
