I took a gamble on these. Never owned a Chelsea style boot before. I bought them for a wedding. Out of the box they looked big (long in the foot). I was not expecting them to be as comfortable as they were. i had them on for six hours and barely noticed they were on my feet. I have worn them multiple times since, and they feel more like slippers than formal footwear. The fact that you can leave them laced and simply slide your foot in and out is a big plus. The shoes started to break in nicely within a day of wearing them. The leather seems decent quality. I had to leave the laces a little loose at first, till I got the ankle a bit more loose, but now tightening back up. All around pretty comfortable for a dress boot.
