As you can tell from the pictures, the shoes themselves are oddly shaped in places. This does self correct when the shoes are put on, and maybe over time the distorted shape will permanently correct itself. The material of the shoe is pretty thin. They're definitely not a high quality, thicker shoe. The soles are perfect height, and they fit as expected. I got a 11.5 for my grandson, and he said they were great. I got these because he liked the look of them, and in person, they didn't disappoint. They do look pretty cool. I will say though, they were shipped in a clear plastic bag (and stuck in my mailbox), so not great for gifting. A box would have been nice, but you could always put into some other box if you wanted to gift. Overall, nice pair of shoes, just wish the material was a bit thicker. I don't think these are going to hold up to normal wear and tear for very long. ... show more

I have wide feet and didn't pay attention when ordering these. My feet are over the sides slightly. They fit my daughter's feet, so my loss is her gain. She says they are super comfortable and should be good to wear at work. The tread on these is unique and looks like they would be great for restaurant kitchen workers. The sole is cushioning where its needed too, and that's a huge benefit to someone working in a kitchen all day. Note to self - check the sizes better before ordering. ... show more

I like the lightweight material, and they are waterproof! I was not expecting them to really keep my feet dry but I had to run through the rain across a parking lot with big puddles, and when I made it inside, my feet were still dry. That impressed me. They are so light and comfortable your feet don't feel weighed down. They looked a little oddly shaped, but that was the compression from the plastic they were sealed in. They reshaped around my feet and there is extra room in the toe area, which I very much appreciate. I don't like my toes being scrunched in my shoes. The insoles can slip out and be replaced with others. I like that feature as well, as I have some special gel inserts I have to wear, and they work perfectly with these shoes. The shoes, even when wet, did not slip or skid on tile or concrete, which was the final selling point for me. I'm getting another pair for my friend who works in a restaurant kitchen on slippery floors all day. Get the laces where they are good and it is fast and easy to put them on or take them off. Very comfortable, the padding on the heel holds the shoes in place. The grip is good even on snow and ice! And while they are waterproof, they are not warm. They will work great for work.

The current asking price of $35.85 is really a bargain for these. I was needing a new pair of shoes for work, but didn't want to pay the price, for now, for the shoes I really wanted. I got these because they fit the specs I needed, and figure that, even if they weren't perfect, they would fill the need in the short term. As it turns out, after wearing them for two days, I think I might not even need to buy the more expensive pair of shoes I was considering. They are comfortable, easy on my feet (and I work 12 hour shifts!) and I have walked over freshly mopped surfaces multiple times without feeling like would slip, even if I tried. Out of the bag, these shoes have a very strong chemical smell. Hopefully, that will fade over time. The design is very attractive and mostly foot-friendly. Cushioning is ample. There is a wide roll of padding across the back of the heel at an odd height, which feels uncomfortable—not painful, but awkward. The stretch in the upper fabric holds the shoes in place when I wear bulky socks, but the laces will allow me to snug them up when I wear thinner socks. These nonslip work shoes for men are lightweight and comfy. They fit perfectly. Plenty of arch and ankle support. The wide toe box makes it so that your toes aren’t scrunched up. Nice sneakers to wear for work or home. The mesh is nice and airy. I recommend.
