BONUS TIP: POP OUT THE PLASTIC LENSES! Great glasses, but they have a major design flaw in the hinge. I've gone through three pair so far because they stop turning on after you bend the side part down too many times. The battery ringing doesn't matter because I leave the control in my pocket because the cord reaches up to my face and it's easy to reach in my pocket to click the button. That's why it has a clip! The glasses themselves don't actually put out a ringing noise. Also, you can't even see the light when wearing them! These turned out awesome for my daughter’s Halloween costume as a stick figure. They matched exactly with the LED lights that I used to make her stick figure. They were a hit! The battery pack does emit a faint high pitched sound but didn’t seem to bother her. The cord is long enough that she attached it to the pocket in her jacket. The light is bright with these, and I can be a million different people behind the lenses. These guys are strong plastic, but not as strong as my enigmatic spirit! I bought these glasses for my daughter's glow birthday party. They were awesome! So different and very cool looking. The glass is clear (which is helpful inside in the dark or blacklight). They do require two double A batteries and have a wire that runs down to a battery pack. That was a little bit of a bummer but the wire is long and we just put the battery packs behind us in the back pockets of our jeans. No big deal and totally worth it. ... show more

Great quality Glasses. They were a hit and we won best costume! I definitely recommend. The battery pack is a little annoying when you have several of them but worth it since they are so bright. The glasses look good even during the day so they transition from day to night well. Just tuck the wire behind you and under your shirt and it barely shows. Perfect glow all night. No issues. Super cool product and works great. However, don't expect them to last too long and be very careful with the cord. I had the battery pack in my pocket and the classes fell off my head and the cord ripped right out very easily. They were only worn for about 4 hours. Once it's out, it can not be repaired. I suggest maybe adding some black electrical tape where the cord meets the glasses just to add a little more strength to that junction. ... show more

All the glasses that we could find were wired, so we ordered a few pair, they all seem to be the exact same glasses. Sturdy but wired. It fit the bill for us and we were super happy with them. They do require batteries. One pair we ordered came with batteries. We also popped out the lenses so it was easier to see. Loved the glasses. Perfect for a tron themed dance. These are super cute, the light they give off is pretty bright and they glasses are of great quality and look nice, but they come with an attached battery pack and line. So basically you have to hook the battery pack to your pants and have a line going from the pack to the glasses.
