I purchased this Keyboard because I wanted it in black, as I had already own the white one. The black shows less visibility of stain on it. It almost match my iPad very well. It is easy to use you want to use it a mini computer, so you don't have to carry your laptop or sit a desk computer. It does make the iPad fill a little heavy. I also wish there was case or something for you apple pencil as it can easily fall off. ... show more

I love the functionality. This has been a great purchase and a great addition to my iPad. However, it is missing some basic things that my $20 case had. There is no spot for the Apple Pencil, and there is no flap to cover the camera lens when not in use. The first basic case I purchased had both these features. Seems like they would be an easy addition to make on this item. The last issue is that there is nothing holding the iPad in place besides the magnetic back. It’s very strong and holds well, but I sometimes try to tilt the iPad slightly more and it comes off the stand. Again, I love it overall but fixing these issues would make it better. ... show more

I have used an Apple Magic Keyboard for my iPad for years. During that same time my wife has been through more keyboard and protection accessories for hers than I can count. Well, I finally talked her into giving it a try - she loves it! The first thing that I like about it is the actual keyboard. It has a nice tactile feel and positive response to typing. I’ve touch typed since junior high school and find the keys, the spacing and depression distance all to be great for fast and effortless keyboarding. It is easy to find the “home” keys and I rarely get “off base”. The keyboard may seem small at first glance but I’ve never had a problem. The angle that the keyboard holds the screen is only slightly adjustable but I find that it is adjustable enough to fit most of my needs. I am always amazed at how strong the magnets are. They hold it tight but not so much that you can’t remove the iPad when needed. The keyboard creates a firm and stable base for keyboarding whether I have it on my lap or a desk surface. I find the charging feature very convenient. You plug your cord into the left side of the hinge with a standard USB C connector. It charges the keyboard and iPad simultaneously. Everything charges quickly but doesn’t get in the way if you want to have it connected during use. If I was pressed to find a negative aspect to the keyboard it would be using the iPad in portrait mode. You really have to detach the keyboard to be effective. That said, I rarely use it in that orientation except for the few apps I have that only render in portrait mode. I think that speaks more to lazy developers than it does to the keyboard. Yes, this keyboard is very expensive in the scheme of things. If you are looking for an effective and protective case and keyboard it is the best that I’ve found. ... show more

It's sleek, well designed and runs off the iPad itself so no additional battery charging required. Given its compact design, when closed, it provides protection for the iPad and when open, it types effortlessly and angles well for good screen viewing and movie watching. A great product.
