The Apple Magic keyboard-case is everything you want it to be & so much more...just like your next ex gf/bf, only this time you keep her/him! I purchased Apple's magic keyboard because it has the word 'magic' in its name...plus I needed something to protect the new work iPad that my company sent me, but really I was hoping for magic. As usual, Apple somehow managed to transform a mundane tablet's keyboard-case, into a unique design that's sleek and functional. Pros: The case is robust, the keyboard is comfortable & literally lit, the design is innovative, sufficient adjustability of screen angle, integral pass-thru USB-C charging port, and magical magnets to pull it all together. Sidenote: You should also buy the gen 2 Apple Pencil - it attaches magnetically to the side of your iPad and makes you look super cool! Seriously, that overpriced little pencil totally pulls the whole package together & just makes you feel so important. Sometimes it causes me to feel so confident that I'll even give it a spin around my thumb! Sweet bliss indeed. Not-Pros: It's heavy, no joke. The case + keyboard are presumably constructed of titanium or some magical space age material that's woven together by Apple Fairies. The only other not-pro is the price, unless you expense it;) Buy it & enjoy it for many years to come, then fashion it to a line & voila: boat anchor! After buying a new M2 iPad Pro (11”), I wanted to also get a keyboard for it. Along with a Apple Pencil. After looking at Logitech, which I would likely recommend over this for the price. Even though those are pretty costly too. The typing experience feels just like my Macbook, which has one of the best keyboards on a laptop. Add to that a great clickly trackpad that is good size, and comfortable to use. Not to mention, adding a extra USB-C port, which is great for charging the iPad while keeping it’s USB-C port open for faster transfer speeds. The keyboard as a case is well made, Very Apple as it weighs a lot compared to the iPad you put in it! Though the magnets hold the iPad securely, It’s easy to yank it off when you just want to hold your tablet. Backlit keys are great, very bright. And that’s about where the pro’s end… First and foremost, The price for this thing is insane! You’re very limited in viewing angles, and the fact that the keyboard has NO function keys?!?! That’s unforgivable!!! However, I’m so happy I bought the over priced keyboard. I really do enjoy it, and it’s added a ton of utility to my iPad. As with most things made by Apple, You get what you pay for. It’s a really solid addition to the iPad, with a few limitations, and lacks a few features it should have at this price point. The Magic Keyboard is a great keypad. Unlike the earlier versions, I can easily and accurately type using the keyboard. It's also nice having the small mousepad on the keyboard. The keyboard attaches to the iPad securely and allows you to position the keyboard and screen at just the right angle. It is also very well built but the downside of that is that it is not light. I am amazed at the transition this Magic Keyboard gave my M2 IPad. It has made my IPad into a tota laptop replacement, as in my needs that I use the iPad M2 for I don’t need a laptop what so ever. My keyboard is so cute and it’s really helpful, from my personal experience I don’t really need a separate case for the iPad itself since the keyboard is a cute case as it is. definitely not worth the price but cute and don’t regret buying. Perfect for my school.
