I am mostly pleased. One end of the garland was nicely plump and decorated with the pine cones and berries, but 1/3 of it was thinly decorated to nothing and had less branches. I added some more decorations but could not make up for the less branches. I love the timer that is attached. It will not only stay on for 6 hours once turned on but also remembers that time of day that you first turned it on and will turn on every day at that time. The battery life was about 4 weeks and started to fade just when I was ready to put away the garland. With a little sprucing up and adding a ribbon it really made a difference in warming up my small living room. ... show more

Considering the cost and that it is 9 feet long I am satisfied with it. It comes VERY tightly packed so be prepared to do a good bit of "fluffing out." Some of the branches are well attached but sort of "swivel" at the attachment point making it hard to bend some into position. I am using it as one sided so this was not too hard. The first challenge is to find the end to begin to unroll it . To accomplish this find the battery box. The cord enters the roping about six inches from the end so start searching about six inched from that. The packers seem to twist one of the branches into the roping to secure it into its bundle. The lights are mostly mounted on one side of the roping. I made the mistake of hanging up the roping and discovered that all the lights were behind the branches so turn on the lights first. These do not come with batteries. You will need 3 AA batteries. ... show more

I ordered three strands to wrap around our front door. The garland is beautiful for the value ($39) once you fluff it. It took about 45 minutes to fluff three strands. Not much snow came off and what snow fell off did not affect the look of it. Some of the garland fell off as well but you are able to reattach them easily, I added more berries and pine cones to spruce it up even more. Update: I was going to order four more strands but the company raised the price from $39 to $52. I recommend the garland for the original price of $39, not $52. ... show more

Ok, this is gorgeous BUT, you will need wire cutters to CUT it apart from itself once you take the 1/2 hr to unravel it and hope all the snow doesn't come off!- hence 4 stars v 5. I recommend you unravel this on a kitchen floor- non carpeted as it is a mess. After some not so nice expletives coming from me while un raveling this, once done and hung over the patio door, and lite, I am very happy with it. I am not a person with patience unfortunately and hate it when i let myself get so frustrated over things like this so be warned if you have no patience, this is going to drive you nuts until you get it unraveled! The snow stuck together and when pulled apart it falls off. Also a lot of the branches I had to re-attached because the wire on them was not completely closed, just like a hook, not closed. I had to rework most of the branches, just to make sure they were tight and not fall off. Even one of the boxes I opened, it just had a branch sitting on top. The texture is not the fern/ Norfolk pine texture like the first picture. It is just standard garland material similar to a faux tree. It is a bit fuller than other garlands and seems to be sturdy enough for outside so I kept it but I feel a little tricked by the photos which make this look like a great deal. There are less expensive options in this length whose photos are more accurate though ... show more

Lights are on the dainty side but do the job, and the timer function on the battery box is great. 4 stars because this took two weeks to be delivered, though when I bought it, stated it was prime and would be here within a few days.
