I LOVE, LOVE this gorgeous Ana Luisa necklace. I've seen it in fashion magazines and drooled over it in the glossy pages. It's the simple beauty that attracts me to this piece; the delicate gold chain, and the contrast of the larger highly polished, glossy golden pebble make these two a PERFECT couple. The chain and pebble are brass, plated in 14k gold. This is high-end, beautifully designed and crafted jewelry, and it has to be treated as such. You don't sleep in it, shower in it, or toss it into that overflowing tangled mess-of-a-dish on your vanity where you toss your costume jewelry. This piece comes with a very nice jewelry pocket it needs to be stored in to keep it from being scratched, and wear and tear. Something different I noticed about this necklace after wearing it all day, is that the chain doesn't "crawl". You know how you always have to make sure necklace clasps haven't creeped around to your chest; this one stays at the back of your neck! What magic is this! I'm so happy with this gorgeous necklace. Truthfully, I can't wait till summer when I open my pool so I can tan and wear super cute tops that show it off; it doesn't like my big sweater and giant puffy coat stealing it's glory. ... show more

    • Beautiful, simple, and pleasing to touch
This necklace looks a little plain in the listing pictures, but it's really just a very understated piece of jewelry. For starters, it came packed in the standard, "box, paper card/chain envelope, leather pouch" type packaging that most pieces I've gotten from Amazon come in, but there was thick protective plastic on the pendant itself, which was a nice touch. The necklace is a terrific length - coming down about mid-sternum on me, and the chain is a beautifully-hued light golden color and with great fluidity. The clasp is an easy-to-open lobster clasp, with several length options - the last one being a nice oblong hole to fasten on. I struggle with some of the tighter clasps, and this one opens easily but holds securely. The pendant is nice and heavy, and reminds me strongly of "The Bean" in Chicago - it's a slightly curved, near teardrop shape, and it just nestles perfectly against your skin. It is a very pretty necklace. By the listing, I thought I was getting an oval sized necklace which contained a stone. My eyes must deceive me on the listing as it looks more like a gold egg. It will match alot and has a nice lengthen chain.

You can tell this is a quality necklace when wearing. It has a good weight to it and feels great against the skin. I feel very elegant and put together when wearing. I love the minimalist design, and it elevates just about any outfit.
