  • Way happier with Amazfit watch than my old 8.5 Apple Watch
I love this watch Most of all because it’s still working. I have purchased 2 Apple Watches and both stopped working before a year. I am a pine tree and flower farmer so I do a lot of physical work but nothing that would break a watch but also because of my work I need a reliable smart watch for many reasons. I love that the shape is a round traditional shape, the apps and features are super easy and my favorite part is how long a charge lasts. I charge it I’ve every three days. I also do long distance running and I can see the features super easy while running. If I had one issue (BUT this could also be user error -I’m a bit of a Luddite) the find phone feature (whixh ditzy me uses a lot to find my phone ) sometimes disconnects. The watch is still paired but it has problems finding it. BUT that could also be because I live way out in remote rural Farming country. And the 2nd thing I would recommend to Amazfit people? Watch band preferences I bought a stainless steel band for a different watch and I had to file down and fashion the prongs to make it fit. Currently the only options for bands are bright colored bands and I’m a grown woman who doesn’t always want pink or purple -they should offer a more sophisticated band in stainless steel or leather. But even those two tiny things -I would pick this watch o er any Apple Watch ? ... show more

  • Looks good and is not overly large on my wrist
When I first started using it the battery was going down fast, but after some alterations it is working great. I have not tried all the features yet but I am looking forward to setting them up.

  • Depends what you’re looking for
So this watch really has both pros and cons, so entirely depends on what you care about and not. Pro: I was looking for a round stylish watch - that it is. The options for a face are not amazing for a woman, but okay fine. Pro: the basic functions of phone notifications are fine, I like the music sync so I can move songs from the watch. Pro: seems to track sleep well. Pro: tracks blood pressure and defines it as “light”, “intensive”, “aerobic” etc. you can choose if to track blood pressure constantly or as needed - affects the battery life. Con: the main downside is a different calorie count compared to other brands - I had a fitbit before and it showed the whole amount of calories burnt in a day. This watch only shows ACTIVE BURN - so only when you actually make an effort, exercise etc. totally different system. I hesitated if this was a deal breaker for me but decided to try it out anyway. Con: does not support Hebrew in notifications - displays it as ???? Probably not a problem for most people but kid if annoying for Hebrew speakers. Russian works fine though. Con: battery life is not great - I need to charge every two days. That said - it charges pretty fast. Hope this helps. ... show more

  • Great Looks and Value
I wish I could rate it 4 1/2 stars but there’s no such option. This is a lightweight, very comfortable watch with an attractive design. The AMOLED screen displays rich colors and good looking text. The screen is readable in bright sunlight and has an ambient light sensor to automatically adjust screen brightness. I love the attention to detail in the design. The size is ideal for small to average size wrists. GPS locks quickly and has been accurate in my tests. The heart rate sensor has also tested well. I compared it against the Garmin Vivoactive 4s and the results were nearly identical. The display is a touchscreen but I appreciate that I can also use the buttons during certain workouts to scroll through the data screens. That’s very useful when running or bike riding. Touchscreen aren’t too practical in those situations. I haven’t tested swimming yet but it does support both pool and open water swimming. You can choose the length of the pool in meters. Even if you have an oddball length pool of 31 meters or 49 or whatever you can set it to that. There’s several watchfaces to choose from and they are designed well. My only complaints or suggestions are that I’d like for more watch faces to be able to be stored on the watch so I can switch between my favorites. Step tracking is a bit conservative, more so for short walks of 20 or 30 steps or less. Step tracking is good for longer walks though. Sleep tracking is okay but nothing to brag about. Notifications come through reliably though the Bluetooth range seems shorter than many watches I’ve tested. Well, before I write a novel just know that this watch does many things well, looks terrific, has great battery life and provides a lot of value for the money. I recommend it if you don’t need all the bells and whistles of an Apple Watch. I have the Apple Watch Series 5 and it’s sitting on the charger as I type this. It spends a lot of time on the charger! ... show more

  • I'm convinced
It's a great watch ,fitness tracker ,space age telecommunication device. Captain Kirk would wear this!! I had the bip. I work out and what I need is my heart rate and pace. The bip was ok and was pretty good with sleep tracking as well. The screen was low res but it worked. I saw this dropped in price so I tried it. Wow great watch. Love it. Zep software is meh there is third party app that really makes this watch useful. for those that complain of the inaccuracies of the heart rate the sleep and other things you need to look at it over an average and collect data. After about a month I can now see how it tracks and it will show variances in sleep, calories, pace and heart rate. It works. I use mine for working out everyday and it's perfectly fine. I do have a heart rate monitor, a chest monitor that I've compared it to. it's close, watch is little more sensitive but the idea is to just get a baseline using that watch and go from there. it works great. You want to spend three or four times this on an Apple watch because it says apple or on a Garmin watch cuz it says Garmin have fun but mine works just great for working out. The battery life is awesome. Right now I use it on treadmill so haven't been hitting gps much. On outside rides I use gps for accurate pace tracking and distance. With mixed use I get 22 days with 10 percent left. Fits great. Uses standard watch bands. It charges quick. Looks great. Honestly if you need at watch and a fitness tracker and understand how to use the data. You will love it. ... show more
