I've been using this telescope for almost 2 months. Right from opening the box, I was amazed by the detail packaging of the whole product. Every lens and hook and accessories are very well packed and protected in the beautiful bag provided. I really like their design and manufacture, easy to travel as well. The quality is top-notch. Setting up does require reading the manual for the first time (too many accessories to setup), but everything is intuitive after that. Like a few other reviewers, I am a beginner in using telescope like this, not expecting what to see or how much I can observe. After a few tries, I learned to use the "finder scope" for a center area first, then work with the full power of the telescope (I am a beginner...) Of course, the moon is the easiest target to check first. What a blast! I never see a view like it! So much detail and so clear. What's better is that this telescope provided a smart phone adapter. I can hook up my iphone to take pictures I was never able to do, even with my SLR with 300mm telephoto lens. I was skeptical at beginning when it was recommended by a friend. Now I am totally sold. I purchased this for my daughter’s 6th birthday, although, I’d wanted a GOOD telescope since I was a child. Needless to say, I use it more than she does. The attached photos were from the first time I used it and I didn’t attach my phone to the telescope attachment because I was too excited. I just held my phone camera up to the telescope so I didn’t get the best photos. However, looking through it was incredible. You can see everything. I half expected to see the American flag waving up there because of how detailed it is. One tip I will give is to take some time looking through it during the day, without the Barlow Lens, to get accustomed to it. I had some trouble actually finding the moon or stars through the telescope initially because I didn’t understand how the rotation worked. The lens is actually a reversed image both along the vertical axis and the horizontal axis— which is apparently how all telescopes work but I had no idea. If you look at night first, you’ll be moving the telescope in the wrong direction trying to find the object because your instincts want you to move it to the left to find an object that’s further to the left, when you actually need to move it right to find that object. Once I got used to it in the daytime, it was super easy to find everything at night. After that, the biggest thing is to use the scope / eyepiece on the side with the crosshairs. I made the mistake of not doing this initially and it is WAY harder to find any object in the sky at night if you don’t center it in your crosshairs first, no matter how zoomed out you are with the lens. So basically, just follow the instructions they include and you’ll be just fine 😅 I’d love to have more lenses for it. I feel like the possibilities are endless so I’m hoping the company makes other lenses that are sold separately. It’s so user friendly so long as you follow the directions in the package instead of getting too excited and winging it lol OH also USE THE LENS CAPS, including the one on the end of the telescope itself. They absolutely will get dusty if you don’t and the lens of a telescope or the lenses themselves are a pain to clean because you don’t want to leave any dirt, fingerprints, or lint behind from whatever you use to clean it. I initially used screen cleaning wipes that weren’t the best quality and that was a big mistake and left little pieces of lint on my lens. The height is adjustable, toggling it side to side and up and down is super easy and includes a stick piece to use to do so more easily, and it includes a carrying / storage case. That might be the best part, to be honest. Having a storage case to put it in makes life so much easier. It’s also incredibly easy to assemble and disassemble. It took us all of 5 minutes the first time even though we didn’t read the instructions initially. All in all, I 1000% recommend this telescope over any others. My wife bought this telescope as a gift for me who is interested in astronomy. I love it! Using it for the last 2 weeks and love the quality and detailed instructions. I have a fantastic telescope that makes things in the sky look really clear and bright because of its special lens. I can zoom in a lot, from 32X to 400X, and even see the craters on the moon. It also comes with a helpful finder scope. Setting it up is easy, and you don't need any tools. It even comes with a thing to attach your phone to take pictures and a remote control. The stand it comes with is strong and doesn't wobble, and it works for both grown-ups and kids. This telescope is a great gift, especially for kids who are curious about space. It got me really interested in science and space. And if you ever have questions or need help, they're there to support you. I have a few other telescopes that are less quality than this one for a similar price. It includes a carrying bag with small compartments, gives easy to carry the telescope and protection. I love this telescope; it's made stargazing so much fun and closer to home. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to explore the night sky, whether you're just starting or already know a lot about stars. Follow the instructions and hardly it took me 30-40 minutes to assemble care should be taken to protect the lens, other than this no issues.
