  • Absolutely beautiful
I absolutely love my telescope. As a new first time telescope owner, this is amazing. I have been learning that it just takes time and patience to learn how to adjust and use. It's tons of 😊. Just be kind to yourself with patience. The price was fantastic.

  • Nice and Clear telescope, but...
This telescope is great and everything is clear and easy. It might be hard to find the moon at first, but it will get easier as you get used to it. The only thing that is pretty hard is the phone mount, it's hard to position the phone and get it perfect. The photos attached were taken by an iPad without the phone mount, so I think taking the photo without the mount is better. ... show more

  • Decent Telescope - great for beginner
The media could not be loaded. Pros: - 70mm Large Diameter Prism system - 400mm focal length - 3 rotatable eyepieces (25mm, 17.5mm, 9mm) - Has barlow lens which magnifies 3x - Magnification ranges from 16x - 133.5x - Soft eyepiece - Compact & lightweight - Comes with travel bag - Easy to assemble - Smartphone adapter - Tripod - Has compass mounted on top of telescope Cons: - Requires adjustment of view finder to focus lens - Rotation of lenses to increase magnification has too much play which actually knocks off field of view - Telescope was shipped in original box with no other boxing or cushioning I ordered this telescope as my son is very fascinated with the moon and planets. I thought this would be a neat educational tool to explore his curiosity. I really don’t know much about telescopes so I am not familiar with the different types of telescopes and which may or may not be better. This telescope was fairly easy to set up. I did not use the phone mount. We were able to view the moon with very little difficulty. What I did notice is that when using the barrow lens and switching from one lens to the other it was easy to knock the field of view off the moon as the telescope vibrates too much as you move the eye pieces. When I first set up the telescope I had the finder scope all set up and when I tried to see the image through the eye piece I wasn't able to find it. I had to adjust the finder scope quite a bit while someone was looking through the eye piece in order to get it aligned properly. While I feel this is a decent telescope for beginners. I know really good telescopes can be very expensive. So you get what you pay for. ... show more

  • Don't waste your money on this
I ordered these telescopes and tried to have fun with the kids, however, it turned out to to be a disappointment. It is so hard to set it up, perhaps I’m just not good at directions. I never got to see the moon or stars through these Telescopes, Now it is sitting at home collecting dust.
