I was very on the fence about buying these but I am beyond happy I did! I ordered 70 locs and they are simply beautiful! I did a flexie rod set on them, locs knots, two stand twist, washed and some more and they act just like my hair. They are Definitely real hair! I will say wash them really good prior to install to prevent any issues. I washed 3 times and let them soak in a apple cider vinegar and baking soda bath for about an hr before I installed them myself. I had no issues with itching or anything. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I wanted to leave a review on this hair because it’s exceptional. It is stiff coming out the package. But I soaked it in apple cider vinegar and boiling water and shampoo. And the hair softened significantly. I’ve had it for 3 months now. I’ve dyed it, washed it several times, and curled it. The hair is holding up really well. There’s no shedding at all, and the loc is strong from top to bottom. I’ve had a lot of different loc extensions and these are one of the top brands I’ve had. Ordered 12 inches-90 count and received 100 locs, no complaints there. Also received a nice metal tip parting comb and a couple colored hair cuffs that I won’t use but the thought is nice. Quite stiff and prickly straight out of the package but no weird smells or anything. I did wash/soak in ACV, baking soda, lemon juice and a cleansing shampoo and air dry per my stylist. The water was actually pretty clear. The hair is much less stiff now but I imagine it should improve over time. Shipping was fast, received within 3 days. Attempted the burn test, the hair did crumble to ash. I haven’t tried coloring yet, I want to install in its natural state for now. I still have about two weeks until my install so I’ll update then. *UPDATE* Two months later hair still holding well, no complaints. Much less scratchy, I’ve washed 2x since installing. Still a little stiff but not noticeable as I usually wear a twist out/braid out which makes it much more flexible looking than when it’s straight. ****Last Update: Initially Installed 1/15/22, officially removed 3/7/23 and installed new locs from a different vendor on Etsy. The original hair and install held up for these past 14 months but was still more stiff and scratchy than I wanted for a long term style. I never did bleach it, but had attempted to color with red L’Oréal color dye in the tubes… and it did nothing. I’d say overall 3/5, it did its job but I’m much happier with the flexibility and realistic texture of my new install. ... show more

I didn’t like how much these locs itched my scalp and face even after washing before use. It is very rough and stiff. I couldn’t style it (curl it) because of how stiff it is. It itched my face a lot. It shed a lot and broke apart when trying to install it. It did take bleaching well. That’s the only positive. I had to cut it out of my (my hair included) I wanted to return it for a refund but not sure how I feel returning a product back with my hair in it and has been bleached. **The company reached out to me after my review to offer ways they can help. If you ever have a problem please contact their customer service as they are willing to satisfy their customers to make the issue right. These loc extensions may work for some and they may be happy with it but I still think it’s too itchy and stiff for my liking. But I will change my review of one star to four stars because the seller went out of their way to contact me to make things right. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I absolutely loved using this hair! My son had a mop top and wanted to change it to a full head if locs without the wait for his sides to grow out and catch up. So I brought these and watched a video on how to install them. Took my a few tries, but the overall look came out amazing. You would not have known he didn't have side locs unless he told you! They feel great, color was spot on, and the loose hair at the end made it super easy to crochet through! Definitely will buy again if we need locs repaired or replaced! ... show more

The hair came in a cute silk pink bag that included the loc bundles, (1) rat tail parting comb, (1) crotchet needle; and an assortment of colored hair jewelry. There was no smell to the hair which I was happy about. I still did an ACV wash on the hair. The hair was very stiff. It felt like felt material or wool like. Even after the wash, they were still stiff. I had them installed and they were very itchy. After 2 days I took them down. I gave it three stars because aesthetically, they look great. Locs were accurate in length but were very stiff. Much stiffer than natural human hair. I ended up only using a few because I didn't want a full head of hard locs.
