  • Shrinks for a tight seal
Color: Dia 1/2” (12.7mm)
Shrinks enough to grip tightly around 10 gage wire. Stays flexible in cold weather.

  • Used to cover a metal tube
Color: Black
I used a 31" length of this 1" shrink tubing to cover a 3/4" diameter painted tube being used as a kitchen towel bar. The glossy painted tube was too slick, causing towels to slide off much too easily. I had to apply a LOT of heat, using a heat gun, to get this tubing to shrink down smoothly around the metal tube, but it eventually conformed smoothly. This polyolefin shrink tubing gives the towel bar a surface that is much less slippery than the original painted finish. I had first tried this idea using a clear version of this shrink tubing, but that did not work as well. After heating the material to make it conform to the metal tube inside, I was left with a number of unsightly air bubbles trapped under the clear shrink tubing. The black version of the shrink tubing may also trap small air bubbles, but none are visible and the finished surface looks fine. ... show more

  • Excellent heat shrink
Color: Dia 5/16” (7.9mm)
Use this for all my outdoor Christmas Light props. I have hundreds of soldered and heat shrunk connections, and this works the best.

  • Heavy duty. Good shrink ratio, and good glue.
Color: Dia 1/2” (12.7mm)
I ordered a roll of this, and it came rolled up really tightly, and the glue on the inside is stuck to itself, probably from the heat of summer. They did make it right by shipping another roll, which was not rolled super tight, and the glue was not all stuck together on the inside. So that makes up for the first shipment, for sure. This is fairly heavy duty, and the shrink ratio is way better than you'll find at the home stores. The glue on the inside is obviously pretty good, and heat sensitive. I think in the future, I'll order this in the cooler months to avoid the possibility that the heat of summer is a root cause of it sticking. In the end, I'm pretty happy with the product, and I'll probably order more of it now that I know they will stand by the product. ... show more

  • Fits RG8 Coax
Color: Dia 1/2” (12.7mm)
I put 1/2 inch heat shrink on the cable before attaching a connector then put 3/4 inch heat shrink over the connector and cable. When heated one after another, they conform to the circumference of the cable and connector. Glue seals out moisture. As an added benefit, heat shrink strengthens the joint. It lasted through the winter season with no leaks. The summer sun should make the seal even tighter. ... show more

  • Anyone else having trouble receiving 5/8" heat shrink tubing?
Color: Dia 5/8" (15.4mm)
I've updated my review from 1 Star to 5 Stars. Turns out my problem was my mistake. And the seller here took the time to communicate and explain to me. Thank You! Here's what happened. I ordered from this seller 5/8" heat shrink tubing because I was buying small packages of 5/8" heat shrink tubing from Lowes. Lowes packages were labelled 5/8" containing two short pieces of "flattened" heat shrink tubing with a physical profile more like "tape" than a "tube" measuring 5/8" across. So I mistakenly thought this was the accepted convention of labelling heat shrink tubing. It's not, and this seller (like many others I would now assume) label their product based on the diameter of the tubing and not the flattened measurement. The 5/8" heat shrink tubing I ordered from this seller has a flattened measurement of 1". Not what I needed. For anyone trying to match the small packages of 5/8" heat shrink tubing sold at Lowes can use the following formula. Flattened Measurement (FM) = 1/2 x pi x D where D equals the diameter of the tubing and D = 2 x FM / pi. So a 5/8" FM equals heat shrink tubing pretty close to 3/8" diameter. Enough said. ... show more

  • I have no headline to offer
Color: Purple-fox
I did not like that so much glue oozes out as you heat the tubing requiring too much time removing that glue when it cooled. However, the tubing did shrink to my satisfaction for my purposes.
