First, I love these boots! Comfortable, solid, lightweight. And the zipper on the side is great for quickly putting them on and off! BUT--they come with laces that are so short that the laces won't even fit through the top 2 sets of grommets! You will need to order another pair of laces that are at least 71" if you want to easily lace these boots higher than shoe-height. I'm still giving this 5 stars because of all the other great features and the low price.

4/28/23 Great first impression with these boots, very comfortable! grips the Achilles perfectly. True to size as well, I wear a 10 and the 10's fit perfectly snug with just enough room in the toe and a set of insoles for extra comfort. I added some extra protection on the outside of the toe with some brown Flex Seal spray so thats why they look a little different than the stock boots. Ive also done a couple coats of some Camp Dry spray to hopefully help repell any water since I work in an animal shelter and frequently use a hose to clean kennels. I will update this review as time goes on since I know you cannot judge a pair of boots off a day or two of use. 5/23/23 Still love these boots! BUT they are just a fraction too small I think. The left boot is making my big toe numb from just barely pushing against it. So I have ordered another pair half a size up. Other than that they are still holding up very well and comfortable in every other aspect.

I love these boots so much that this is my 3rd pair of these excat boots. I bought 2 in black and these khaki ones. They last forever! The zipper makes these boots. High quality thick zipper. The zipper will not break or snap or malfunction. I will not work without high boots like these, especially without a zipper. I am on my feet 10-16hrs and high boots that are tight and sturdy but comfortable are extremely important. I need boots that are long lived, easy to put on and off, high qulaity and comfortable. These boots check all those off the list. They have super traction on the bottom when they are brand new its awesome. I have worn dozens of boots of the last 15yrs and these are the best. They will not disappoint. For high boots I don't feel like they are very heavy, compared to the under Armour line of course they weigh more but ask anyone that wears the under Armour boots they pay more money for boots that don't last as long. I am going on 4yrs for one pair. Your lucky to get 6 months out of most other brands. Is the inside sole soft, not really but you should be wearing inserts in all shoes especially boots. Shoe companies don't waste their money on the inner soles because they know people are going to use inserts. They are water resistant not water proof. I would not stand in a deep puddles for long time. If they do get wet, you just unzipp them and let them dry out. The boots inside have paddling around ankles which keeps them comfortable. Do they get hot, yea depending on the weather but they are 8inch boots. After breaking them in which is not long they will conform to your legs and feet. I really have nothing negative to say about these boots. If you have been a shoes wearer all your life then these might take time to adjust to walking in them and 2 seconds longer it takes to lace them up. If your a boot wearer then you'll love these right away.

These boots fit awesome for an out of the box fit. They hug the foot with enough room to move the toes. They are light as boots go, and I'm a land surveyor as well as 11B from a past life. Ounces lead to pounds pounds lead to pain. Every little bit you can get for free leads to comfort and better maneuverability. They are well built and with the proper care should last , given the inexpensive price tag for the product. The zipper works well for taking on and off with out a hassle. The knife pouch or whatever you would like to call it will work well for a proper knife. Haven't had them in water yet but that day will come. Have heard from other reviews that they are water tight even into the the zipper area. Soles are flexible but protection is great. Grip seems to be great. They seem to breathe well, at the end of day my feet are not moist. The insoles are very comfortable and do not need any additional help out of the box. And not that it matters to me, I think they look great as well wich is a bonus. Overall they are great boots in my eyes. Price wise I think they are well worth the purchase. Time will tell if it is worth it in the long run.

I've worn boots for most of my life (76 yr old) and these are hands down the most comfortable boots out of the box I've ever worn. They fit my size 10-1/2 wide feet perfectly with heavy socks. The insoles were more comfortable than my Brooks Beasts shoes. They are light in weight. The laces were long enough as they came. Good support and comfortable to walk in right away. I'm 5'6", 190 lb and they fit my ankles and legs perfectly. I can't wait to see how they break in and hold up. They should only get better as they break in. Time will tell.

A littler pricey for a boot made in Asia. But I took a chance on these boots and I love them, very comfortable with the aid of wool socks and the boot knife pocket is fully elastic and can fit a 4 inch pocket knife easily and fully with no fear of it falling out, i ordered the tan pair the color was true to the picture. End rant here enjoy.
