Basically, a print on extremely light wood. Like the kind of wood you would get in a craft store. However, the turtles are good enough for me. I put a little picture gum on the back and they are still hanging weeks later. Very good for someone in an apartment that can’t put a hole in the wall. They are not a hefty as I would have liked. Very thin. One was noticeably cracked right out of the package. The same one has a burn mark on it. The two smaller pieces were usable but now I’m sending them all back because the largest one is broken.
