Not heavy and thick but not thin either. Very good medium weight towel. Not cheap by any means, good quality. If you want thick luxury towels get a higher gsm. If you want normal medium weight towels these are worth the money. Quality cotton.

I offer my guesthouse for short-term rentals, and I usually get all towels at my local warehouse store. But I needed extra white washcloths. These looked good, and I thought a bit more high-end. Think Hilton not Motel 6. Sadly, these are closer to what you might find in the latter, not former. They don't seem cheap, exactly, but they are definitely on the thin side. More dishcloth than washcloth. Would work okay for face washing. But not thick and absorbent and soft enough for using body wash in the shower. I won't be using them on my guesthouse. But for the price, I'm not hugely displeased or anything. Wouldn't buy again though.

I thought I was buying something similar to a 4 star hotel towel. These are not premium. They're barely average. I'm 6'0 220 lbs and these run slightly small on my 34" waste. They say a little lint comes off but you really REALLY need to wash them 3 times before first use and understuff the washer/dry because if you don't, then you'll have lint on your skin after a shower. There was so much lint! It clogged the plus sign trap in the utility sink and the water almost overflowed in my laundry room. I also made the mistake of washing one with some white towels, and now my kitchen utility/wash towels have blue lint woven into them making them appear patchy blue (see picture of regular towel next to washed one). I wish I could return these but I was dumb enough to buy 16 towels and washed them all. Never again will I make that mistake. They did get softer after one wash, but after two washes, they were course again. Going to donate them and buy something else that is accurately advertised. Why is it so hard to get 4 star "hotel" towels. These would be a good value at $3 per towel on black Friday. Maybe $5 per towel otherwise. Certainly not $10. And before they rebuttal this review claiming user error, they were washed on casual/press with cool water. I know, not washed as instructed but I didn't realize towels needed to be washed like wool sweaters. And to top it all off, my wife criticized me for being very stupid. Quote: "I could have bought these same towels on Black Friday for $3." She went on to say something about being stuck with crappy towels for another 5 years and that I need to buy separate towels for guests. All said, they aren't terrible towels, they just had false advertising and used the false advertising to charge a premium. That's why they were so disappointing. I would have been happy with these if I'd picked them up at Walmart for $4-5 ea. with the expectation that they aren't premium.
