I purchased this for Halloween as my son was wearing something similar. The materials are good quality and I can see how this can be use for other costumes. The holes where the thumb goes is not precisely in a normal human position hence my 4 star review, however it was cold that day so I wore gloves and it did not bother me no more. The tie up part is both on the front and back, mine came undone so I had to tie it.. nothing complicated just like shoe laces. Extremely thin and shapeless material. The thumb holes are in the wrong place so it’s uncomfortable to wear and the seam around the cutouts were already coming loose right before I even tried it on. Nice piece to add some character to your outfit for under $20 is a real steal. Going to be great for my rogue outfit for the fair coming up. Well worth the cost especially with no fraying of the seams or ties is being much more top notch than anticipated.

Quality of fabric is surprising considering the price. Feels very soft and comfortable. Good for an event in the fall. Also comes with adjustable ties, so sizing is flexible. Nothing looked too sloppy with the stitching, either. Definitely recommend for Halloween or a Renn faire in the later months.

I bought this for a renaissance fair, I was aiming for more of a gothic turn to the style. I was very impressed with the dress and very budget friendly. It fits a little bigger than your usual size so I’d recommend sizing down unless you plan to layer underneath. And I do recommend layering because it’s a very thin material in the colder weather. It’s not see through thin but very light weight. I love the tie placements. The only thing I did not like were the sleeves, a lot shorter than the picture looks but they weren’t too short, just the thumb holes were pretty useless. This is more of a paper-thin t-shirt material than I expected, and not as soft as I would like, but it's not see-through. I got size L and it runs slightly large, the actual measurements are close to what's posted for XL. But you can make it much smaller with the ties so it's not a problem to be a bit loose-fitting. I am 30J/38-33-38 and 5'3". The proportions mostly aren't bad except the ties in front start a little too high up for my bust size. And the neck is overly wide. The sleeve thumbhole is a bit awkward/small. But overall it's not too bad and would make a nice costume or roleplaying outfit. I would recommend to wash on cold and hang dry as I suspect this fabric may be prone to pilling. ... show more
