Description

Change is good. Back in the day choosing a vinyl film was easy with basically two film types, cast, and calendered. Nowdays things are a little different. Sign and graphics professionals now have more types of vinyl films to choose from than ever, with more adhesive types as well. We developed Rapid Tac II to work with a wider variety of films such as the economy calendered, intermediate calendered, high performance calendered, metallic, reflective, polyester, mylar and other specialty films). Rapid Tac II promotes bonding faster than the original Rapid Tac application fluid and is ideal for cold weather and glass application. Rapid Tac II is not a replacement for the Original Rapid Tac, and may bond too fast with Premium Cast films in warmer conditions. Use Instructions: STEP 1. Clean surface thoroughly with Rapid Tac and a kitchen paper towel. Do not use other cleaners or solvents. STEP 2. Spray surface again with Rapid Tac, peel backing off decal and place on wet surface. STEP 3. Position decal. Use squeegee to remove fluid, using a good deal of pressure and working from the center out to the edges in all directions. STEP 4. Wait 2 to 3 minutes. Saturate paper cover tape, if any, with Rapid Tac, then remove paper tape. Wipe surface with paper towel.

I'm sure this works great. I bought it to put new vinyl over my 1978 kitchen cabinets. This product is not recommended for indoor use. The whole MDS is not shown in the description. Here are the warning statements. This is useless for work indoors. The product description should have all of these warnings. I was helping my brother install some vinyl badge and wheel overlays on his Ram and saw a video using this product. Well, it got me thinking about some Lux tail light tints I had bought about 3 months ago. I really struggled with those because they would stretch and warp a bit as I tried to install them and then they’d be nearly impossible to align right. So I had quit on that project but decided to try again with this in my arsenal. Ordered another set and using the slippery fluid made the alignment much easier and gave me time to properly align the pieces without any stretching out. Was very happy with the results. A little goes a long way so I should have bought the smaller container and saved a few bucks but all in all I’m happy with the product. ... show more

The product was late. I submitted this the first time and wasn't aloud to put it was late apparently they don't want bad reviews so to meet the guidelines the product is green and seams to work, just don't expect it on time

First off, the product works. I used the RapidTac Prep first, then RapidTac II. Yes, it does allow one to position graphics then set them. However, it does not let you slide them around, you have to lift and re-position. It only is a problem with very large graphics. I have used this on race car graphics that were large and I "managed." In the future I will most likely use Slide-On from Phoenix or Classic. ... show more

Love this stuff. Used it apply a stripe kit to GT350. Graphics were easily adjusted if needed, and made it all just so easy. Much better than water. Does take a while to dry though in a cool garage. Used about half a bottle undiluted, still have plenty left for the next project. Definitely recommend
