I bought these for a big project, and I needed really large bobbins. There is nothing in the description to say these were for bulky weight yarn. The worsted weight yarn I am using is constantly slipping out of the slot and I ended up with a tangle that took over one hour to undo. Now, I use safety pins to attach the bobbin to the last stitch of that color in the row - which is tiresome and inconvenient. I just love these! If youre like me and you knit or crochet, then these are a must have doing color work or graphgrams projects.Like everyone that does these types of projects just using balls of yarn you're going to have a tangled-up mess that seem to take forever get untangled. With these and the way they're made, the yard ,mostly stay on bobbins ,so you can adjust the yarn length when done then wrap the color back on it, drop that color ,and goes to next and the bobbin will just hang there and not ravel up..Yes, you do have some unraveling to do with these also but its not as bad .It saves me so much time in having to sit and unravel yarn while doing projects. They're a pretty good size some have said there to big? I do not think so when using them from crocheting and knitting they're just the right size ... show more
