    • So much better than Elizabeth Arden!
I love love love this stuff! My face is dry and sensitive, so I need all the moisture that I can get. At night time, I remove makeup, wash my face, use my toner, then moisturize my face and eyes and finish with a thick jelly to seal everything in and give my face a little extra hydration. Before I discovered this, I was using Elizabeth Arden's 8 Hour Cream. The Elizabeth Arden worked well, but there were several problems with it. 1. The smell. The 8 hour cream has fragrance (not at all good for my sensitive skin), and the smell was awful. My boyfriend wouldn't even come near me when I was wearing it. 2. The mineral oil. It burned my skin a bit. It didn't cause breakouts or redness, but it wasn't very soothing at all. 3. The price. I spend a bit more on my beauty products, but I try to mix the expensive with the cheap and try to find cheaper solutions that are still good quality. The 8 Hour Cream was about $25, so it wasn't crazy expensive, but it was still more than I would have liked to spend considering how much I use. With the Un-Petroleum Jelly, all these issues were solved. It has no smell, no added fragrance, no mineral oil, feels oh so luscious when I put it on, and you can't beat the price. It's perfect in every way. When I finish putting all of my other things on my face, I put this all over, including under my eyes, on the eyelid, eyelashes and eyebrows. My lashes and brows feel so much more hyrdrated and my skin looks flawless. It just shows, if you like the idea of a product, search around, do some research and see what else you can find until you've found the perfect solution. Love this product so much! I used to use petroleum jelly but this feels better and the ingredients are definitely better. Doesn’t feel oily.

    • Amazing vaseline alternative!
I am a former Vaseline addict, and over the past year or two I have been slowly switching all of my products towards more natural products. Once I finished up yet another giant tub of vaseline, I knew it was probably time for me to get away from petroleum as well, so I decided to try this and see if it could compare with my beloved vaseline. I like that this product has no petrolatum, artificial colors/fragrances, parabens or phthalates and that they don't test on animals. The first 3 ingredients are castor seed oil, coconut oil and beeswax. So the ingredients are awesome! It also works (for me, anyways) pretty much just like vaseline does. I get extremely dry hands in the winter time, and what I typically use this product for is to apply a light layer to my hands, lips, and the corners of my eyes (which get really dry also) right before bed to trap in the moisture from my other lotions/creams/balms, and it works great! It honestly looks and feels just like vaseline! I only have two complaints about this. First is the scent. It is not something I ever notice really unless I actually put the product up to my nose and smell it up close, but it has kind of an unappealing scent. I can't put my finger on it, but it almost smells fake? Kind of plastic-y? Which is funny because this is an all natural product. But it really doesn't bother me that much. The other thing is the tube it comes in. Just imagine pushing vaseline through a tube like this. It isn't exactly easy. And I am sure it will only get harder after more and more of the product gets used up. It is nice how you can be sure you use every little bit of vaseline up in it's container, but this I'm sure would impossible to do that (unless you are cutting open the tube, at which point it becomes a bit unsanitary.) Overall though I really like this product. Like I said it performs JUST like vaseline does for me, so I love that! I am willing to pay a bit more and deal with the inconvenient tube though because I like the more natural ingredients. I was kind of expecting the worst with this product (skin reactions, etc.) and have been so pleasantly surprised to only have a positive experience, and I am really impressed!     • Keeps my skin hydrated
Long post: Finally I found this amazing product. It keeps my skin from drying out when the heater is running. I do not slug. At night, after cleaning my face with water or the smallest amount of face soap possible (if needed), I gently rub the just enough of this product to cover my skin without leaving too much residue and shine. I wait 20min and pat my skin with a towel to gently remove excess. In the morning, I use a small amount ceramide cream under my spf. My skin cannot tolerate all the serums that are popular now, so I focus on keep my skin barrier healthy. Usually My skin gets super dry in the winter. Even with a humidifier, my skin gets raw and flaky. This amazing product has kept my skin smooth and hydrated. :) so far so good. :) ... show more

I have super dry lips for some reason even though I drink tons of water. I used to use petroleum jelly but became aware it’s not the best for you. This stuff works better than anything else I’ve tried! I’ve tried lip masks and all sorts of cheap to expensive things and trending things as well. Nothing has helped me in years like this product. It’s soooo hydrating and makes my lips look shiny and healthy. Doesn’t taste like anything or have a smell at all. It doesn’t feel thick it feels nice and refreshing ... show more

One of my favorite new finds! I have dry skin and this product is just like vaseline, but without the petroleum ingredients, which are horrible for the planet. It works so well and lasts all day without feeling greasy. I keep one in my purse and one at home. Love it!
