Description

Raise the roof on the new Landroid Lift-Top Garage. Check Landroid’s controls while it charges, just by flipping the lid. Landroid is a tough machine and can withstand low to medium-grade inclement weather, but when the rain or hail really start to come down, or temps get into the 90s and 100s, everyone deserves some shelter, even your Landroid. This garage will keep it in peak performing condition and extend its life cycle. It runs better when it’s been out of the sun for a while, too, because cooler batteries last longer. And Landoid even knows enough to get out of the rain—Its sensors can detect droplets, and it returns to its charging station and garage to wait it out. Besides, everyone knows you shouldn’t cut wet grass, so does Landroid. The garage is made of water-resistant materials and protects it from harmful UV radiation. Its support legs are sturdy and are great at deflecting errant soccer balls and playful dogs. It’s 27.8 inches long x 21.8 inches wide x 15.7 inches high (when it’s closed). It’s a snap to install, just fits over the charging station and screws into the base. We even threw in the screws and the hex key to do it.     • Great protection for your Landroid when not in use.
The Landroid's charging bay is against the side of my house. I was going to build something to help protect it. This little garage with the flip top was just the thing. Pros: 1) I did not need to spend money on parts and waste my time building something that already exist 2) The garage is very easy to setup. a) Slide out the charging bay. Does not need to be moved very much. b) Set the garage down where the charging bay goes. c) Using the provided anchors, anchor the garage down. d) Flip up the top of the garage and slide the charging bay back into place and anchor it back down. 3) Helps protect your investment (your Landroid) from the weather when not in use. 4) The Flip top make it easy to: a) Check the Landroid. Turn it on/off. If the power goes out when the Landroid is charging, the Landroid will power itself off. You will then need to power it back on and enter your PIN. b) Remove the Landroid from its garage for maintenance (cleaning the Landroid and replacing blades). b) Check the boundary wire status (green/red light on the charging bay). All without getting down on your hands and knees. Cons: Wish it was made out of a little stronger material. When you unlatch the top and lift the lid, the top does flex/wobble around since it is made out of thin plastic. For extra protection on the garage vs the Florida sun, I sprayed it with a UV protection clear coat spray paint. So, far the clear coat has not peeled off. That was three months ago. It looks nice and the ability to left the cover is nice, but I wish the garage cover was a bit wider to keep the mower out of the sun and rain while docked. I also have concerns about the latch for the cover breaking easily if I'm not gentle with it. Cosmetically the garage looks nice. I really wish the Landroid app would allow us to select different methods for the unit to leave it dock. ... show more

    • Must have purchase to keep your robot mower cool and dry
I decided it was not a great idea to keep the robot baking in the sun, and getting wet from the rain. Hopefully this will extend the life of the robot even longer. Well made, top flips up easily so you can access the mower while docked. Increases total costs of ownership but I do like that Worx make this as an option as it worked well for me.     • Works well, easy to set up
I was able to set this up in about 10 minutes. Its very easy to set up and works quite well. It protects my landroid from heat and keeps away a vast majority of the rain. The only downside to this product is the cost, there are other options you can buy for less than this (Ive heard of people modifying dog houses) but its still a good product. Overall I am happy with it. 4/5 stars - good product but a bit pricey ... show more
