This is a great choice for me ( a homeowner with lots to trim and cut). It starts easily and has several very useful attachments. The attachments for the 26 cc version are also compatible. This unit is HEAVY (but it does come with an interesting shoulder harness). Operated fine so far (but it's brand new; we'll see). I bought this tool to clear brush from a newly purchased 2 acre plot that had overgrown. Some reviews said parts were missing or that there were damaged parts when the package first arrived. I did not find either of those issues. Parts all there and undamaged. Some people reported starting issues so before any assembly I followed the directions to see if the motor would start. Prime the carb by pressing the rubber bulb on the bottom of the carb 10 times. Flip the choke to 'up' position. Pulled the cord 3 or 4 times and it cranked right up. Flip the choke to 'down' position and you are good to go. When I got on site first I used the 3 blade brush cutter and it devastated the thick overgrowth. Brush up to about 1/2 inch thick were handled quite well. After pumping grease into the fittings I changed to the hedge trimmer for the lighter growth. No problems. No problem on restart either. I haven't tried the chain saw (but I have greased the fittings for when I do) , the circular saw or the string trimmer yet but I am confident they will be fine. The unit is heavy but the harness provided relief from that. Harness is a bit flimsy but that is my only complaint. Be patient with the instructions because the translation from Chinese sometimes misses the mark but you will get the idea. I used this tool heavily and it performed well. First off this machine is wieghty. However it's to be expected with the large power head. It came well packaged no damaged or missing parts. Assembly was fairly easy even with the pretty sparse directions. All tools needed are supplied. Filled the tank with my normal 50:1 mix primed it well set choke and throttle lock 3 pulls and it came to life. After initial 2-3 minute. Run it smoothed out and made good power. Today I put the pole saw on. Don't forget to open oiler adjustment and grease the bar tip. Ran amazing! Cut everything the chain touched with ease. My initial feeling is it's a deal. I will update after more run time. 4 stars because of directions. ... show more

When i was researching this Trimmer i saw all the comments on this thing is heavy. I was thinking people are just WEAK and it can't be that Heavy... THEY WERE NOT LYING !!! The attachments are hard to attach. the POWER is LACKING NOT worth the money buy a quality brand

This tool is a LIFE CHANGER! seriously, everyone if your wondering “should I buy this?” The real question you should ask yourself is “why haven’t I bought this already” I was so skeptical on buying this product for about 2-3 months and I beat myself up for not buying it earlier and saving myself so much time and energy. Okay let’s let’s get started on the Pros and Cons. Pros: String Trimmer attachment - the bump feed works perfectly, you can fit about 12-15 feet Of trimmer string per side in the head. This string trimmer also is 17&1/2 inches longer than my Echo Srm 225 string trimmer I was using before. Now I don’t break my neck and back trying to hit that percect edge. Huge advantage, especially for us tall folk! Brush Blade attachments - VERY DURABLE! the brush blade is quite intimidating the first time you put it on, but let me tell you, the amount of time I have saved with the brush blade is unparalleled to anything else. Really like this blade for cutting and removing rose bushes as well. 1 easy quick cut without a mess or having to possibly get pricked a few times! Hedger attachment - I seriously love the fact that this is adjustable to a 90 degree angle. Makes hedge trimming and topping ENJOYABLE! Good strong durable blades, also love that it has grease fitting on the outside of the head, makes maintaining this hedger attachment a breeze! Pole saw - let me start with, when I first started my side venture, I was only using pole saws, just trimming trees that I was able to reach about 8-12 feet high. This pole saw attachment with the extension bars can reach over 14 feet ITSELF! Not to mention myself holding it another 6-8 feet off the ground, the power and control I had with this pole saw was unlike any other pole saw I’ve ever used, (electric, stihl, and echo pole saws) but this entire Proyama system is a SPLINE driven system and that’s where the power comes from in this machine! Nothing matches the persistent power this 5-1 multi-tool provides. Cons - this string trimmer is a bit heavier than your use to, SERIOUSLY, but when you consider the whopping motor you have inside of it and you see the power displayed, weight will be the least of your concerns the more you use it. One other little weird thing, I didn’t notice until I could not start this machine for the first 10 minutes I owned it, the On/Off Power switch is upside down compared to any other power tool I’ve ever used, down is on.. have to say I didn’t like the idea at first, and was so glad I didn’t flood my carburetor out, but it makes turning this machine off in your hands even easier. Just takes some getting use too, that’s for sure. Other than that ladies and gentlemen, this 5-1 multi tool is a MUST OWN! Not only are you getting a piece of Strong, Reliable, Powerful, beautiful 5-1 tool, your going to be saving time, money, and effort in every job you do. Plus if something is acting up or missing or maybe was just a defective piece, the customer service at Proyama is unmatchable. Truly, I broke the cap to my pole saw attachment where the oil goes, I received and email from Proyama themselves asking if they could send me a new cap, now that’s customer service right there, not scrolling for phone numbers and emails. Proyama is world class quality I highly Suggest you do yourself the favor, and just own this 5-1 multi tool already. ... show more

I DO NOT NORMALLY LEAVE REVIEWS GOOD OR BAD, BUT HAD TO FOR THIS!!! I have to update and say that the problem wasn’t the equipment for me, it was the fuel I was using. I changed the fuel brand and type, and it doesn’t take near as many pulls to start. Once started, it will restart and run like a beast with one pull!! I have had this equipment since May. I like all the attachements that come with it, and how easy it is to use. BUT, I will tell you ALL, do not purchase this piece of equipment because you will spend more time trying to get it started than when you use it. 20 plus pulls to start EVERYTIME!! You will be tired just from trying to get it to start. I read that it takes some time to start, but this is ridiculous, I would return this if I could and purchase another brand of weed eater that has the same accessories with it. But, for your own sake, do not purchase this BRAND of equipment. They need to do a lot more work on the starting of their equipment. ... show more
