🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

The reviews reflect a mixed opinion about the product's durability and functionality. Users appreciate its versatile attachments and performance for heavy-duty tasks around farms or for commercial use. However, several users encountered issues with attachments breaking, poor initial assembly instructions, and the heaviness of the unit making it hard to handle for lighter tasks. Customer service seems responsive, with quick replacements for defective parts.

Pros

  • 🔧 Versatile with multiple attachments for different tasks
  • 💪 Suitable for heavy-duty work, like farm tasks or commercial land clearing
  • 🛠️ Responsive customer service with quick parts replacement
  • 🔋 Powerful motor handles tough jobs well

Cons

  • 🛑 Issues with durability of attachments and the pull start mechanism
  • 📚 Challenging assembly and instructions for novice users
  • ⚖️ Heavy and bulky, which may cause fatigue during extended use
  • ✂️ Some attachments, like the hedge trimmer, perform poorly

Should I Buy It?

If you're in need of a multi-functional tool for heavy-duty work and are willing to overlook some potential durability issues with attachments, this could be a valuable addition to your equipment. The product seems to have excellent customer service to back it up, which mitigates some of the risks associated with these issues. However, if ease of use, weight, and reliability for lighter tasks are your primary concerns, you might want to explore other options.

  • Yes, with all extensions it is heavy
I’ve been using my hedge cutter frequently. It works fantastic. The saw with extension works great. My neighbor saw me using and now said he’s going to order. I love this unit. Starts right up every time. It is heavy.

  • Great so far
I am very happy with it. The only thing that looks cheap is the deflector on the weed eater head, but as long as l am careful that shouldn’t be a problem. I had it out and all put together in about a hour. I put gas in it, turned on the choke, started pumping on the bubble to push gas into the carburetor, which you watch with the clear fuel lines. After I got fuel to it and then pump2 more times. I turned on the high idle, with the switch to the on position. I pulled 2 times, and it tried to start. I switched the choke to run and pulled 1 more time and it started. Make sure you grease all the heads before you use them, and yes it is heavy. But you are carrying a 42cc motor. If you want power, this things got it. I think I am going to get a better weed eater head though. It works but it doesn’t hold very much string and we use a lot sometimes, and I hate having to stop and reload the head in the middle of a yard. For most jobs the harness will help with the weight unless you are reaching up high to use the chain saw to cut limbs. I would buy it again. Great price for all you get. $300.00 compared to $1200.00. I will take that any day. I do have another weed eater that I use for just weed eating. If that’s all you need. Buy something smaller and lighter, but for what this is intended for. It’s Great. ... show more

  • Fantastic Seller and Customer Service
We live on small farm and needed a pole saw as well as brush cutter all the time. I have an old echo that is best trimmer I’ve ever own.But having extra trimmer is great bonus and hedge trimmers, Well that’s just to make my wife happy. So Bought the 5 n 1 Maxtra set.Grease up attachment grease fittings and everything runs works great.Jenna at customer service is fantastic. I was missing a part and she responded fast and made sure was exact part I needed and sent it out right away. The shaft on pole saw broke while cutting a limb. Jenna took care of that also sent out replacement right away. The company stands behind product and I really appreciate their customer service. Something that is very rare these days. It’s tough job when people aren’t usually happy or nice dealing with customer service but I can’t say enough about how great Jenna was. I hope she is appreciated there. ... show more

  • Poor quality
Would love to say PROs and CONs but this item is for the most part, CON. Was hoping to get a multi-tool with good quality. Attached the pole saw and it worked okay for about 5 minutes... chain off. Again. Again. Then attached the hedge trimmer which is really what I wanted to work well. It will not cut at all. I have house scissors that do a better job. I have a cheapo electric that I can cut all of the front bushes at the house within 5 minutes, no exaggeration this hedge trimmer wouldn't do the same job in an hour. It's like hand sawing with a butter knife. Other issues. The safety shutoff is so cheaply made that it will vibrate to the kill position by itself. The motor is a beast. It takes a while to get started but once it does it runs good. The weight is almost prohibitive. Unless you are 6'2" and going to the gym 3x per week, you will have issues with fatigue. The real deal is it really doesn't matter if it has a good motor, the attachments are real junk and do not cut which makes it unusable. I will get some videos together this week and post it up. ... show more

  • It is very heavy and won't start.it finally started
It will not start after hours and hours of trying. The only good thing I got was making my arms muscles bigger because trying to start this machine is a work out.

  • Three Years In, Still Starts On 3rd Pull!
**Shown with my modifications** This thing is A. BEAST. It is NOT a weed whip, it is a full-on brush trimmer. Do not use this if you're a - single mom with a backyard - suburbanite weekend warrior with .15 acre lot This is too much machine for you. For heavy, but non-professional clearing work, it is the deal of a lifetime but, it is friggin heavy! As long as you take care of it though, (mix fuel heavy and use non-ethanol) it starts on the third pull every time. I just got it out of winter storage, fired it right up with the old gas still in it. My modifications include - after market harness and handlebar throttle (huge back-saver!) - Oregon chain for chainsaw attchmt - Chainsaw toothed circular blade for whip head attachment (for cutting cattails underwater) I found I was switching between the fixed blade and weed whip head so much I contacted the manufacturer and they shipped me a second weed whip head so I can swap out without hand tools. The only thing thats broken so far was the weed whip deflector shield, other than that its going strong. And if it breaks, I buy another one and am still under what I would've paid for a similar Husky/Stihl. ... show more
