Purchased this about 2 months ago. What I noticed immediately was that when it arrived it was packaged in a very sturdy box. Inside it was well insulated from the possibility of being damaged on the way to me. This was very easy to assemble. Before I even turned it on what I noticed was how easy it was to move around. Having wheels is a feature that my wife and I really like. We have another purifier that does not have any wheels and is heavier and difficult to move. I like the fact that is has temperature, humidity, and PM2.5 readings. Another benefit is that it has 5 fan speeds to choose from. Even on the higher speeds it is not that loud. On the lower speeds it is extremely quiet. On the higher speeds it cleans up the air fast! I know that it is working since we have an air quality meter and have done many before and after tests. Having a light that indicates when the filter should be changed is nice too. Only additional thing I wish this had, is a fan speed in-between the second and third fan speed. First let me say that the product was packaged well and was clearly designed to prevent shipping damage. Once opened it is obvious this is a well made product. Fit and finish is great and only requires minimal unwrapping of the filters to get it up and running. The air purifier is very quiet on low as well as high settings. The turn over rate is fast and it seems to remove odors as well as particulates from the air. I highly recommend this air purifier. ... show more

Just received my JF888 a few days ago and already love it. Initial impressions are that it's a very well built machine that moves a lot of air. At it highest setting I was surprised at how much air flow was going through this unit and how incredibly quiet it is. I have it set up in my kitchen and as soon as I begin cooking it automatically detects the fumes and kicks the fan into high gear. Even when extinguishing candles in the adjacent room, it detects the smoke right away and begins scrubbing the air. I’ve done a lot of research before I ordered an air purifier and read lots of reviews, but not all air purifier do what they claim to do. The main reason I was looking for a purifier was helping with cooking and household odors and pet dander. I’m impressed so far with this air purifier. It does a great job overall. Before I ordered this product I had a Levoit Everest and even so it was an attractive purifier it didn’t removed any VOC, odors, pet dander or even smoke. The Jafanda purifier immediately turns on when you frying food or using hair spray and detects it from a distance. I’ve noticed barely any dust and pet dander is trapped by the pre filter. The main reason I decided for this model over more expensive competitors was the different filter options for your specific needs. The regular filter is already great, but I’m going to test the odor filter next. The purifier is super quiet and I love the temperature and humidity feature. Would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for an effective purifier. ... show more

Right away you can see this machine is all quality. Runs very quite on levels 1-3, 4 and 5 bit noisy but not really for amount of air speed at these levels. Auto works good. Was registering a level1 of particulates then after cooking in kitchen ( purifier is in dining room) it was registering 14 and adjusted fan. Great machine but pricey ... show more

This is my first review after a first month of use. There are so many factors affecting the sustained cleanliness of the air inside. Also, it is well known that the air inside of a typical home is more contaminated than outside air. I have a 1800 Sq.Ft home. We also have a wood burning stove in the middle of our great room. We use fire to heat our home. On initial start-up the AQ count showed about 480. Shortly after startup it went down to 150-200 range. Then it fluctuated as high as 300 depending on what was happening in the house like some smoke coming out of the stove. (Square foot rating of the equipment applies only to "air exchange or circulation rate".) We purchased a second unit and we have them both running on opposiing walls. Together they maintain very good "green" AQ at night when we are sleeping and there's no activity in the house. During the day time and wood burning and other activities, they maintain from about AQ reading of 50 to 125. Yellow to lower speed Red. The reduction in smoke and dust stickinng on glass, mirrors, and flat surface throughout the house is very noticeable. Should be the same for our lungs. From this, we can guess how much cleaner the air is inside of our home. I will edit this once I had a year or two of good stable use. Thanks for a nice air purifier. Product came very well packaged with plenty of protective wrapping. Absolutely no assembly required (other than removing the plastic from the filters). There are five fan speeds. Speeds one and two are as quiet as a whisper; speed three is quiet, but audible; speeds four and five are fairly loud, but effective at circulating the air and getting it filtered quickly. The sleep mode works perfectly - all functioning lights turn off and the fan slows way down to a soothing hum that will lull you to sleep. It does not come with a remote, but the app functions just like a remote. The air quality sensor is located on the back of the unit and is extremely sensitive. While the purifier is operating, it continuously monitors the air quality and displays the air quality index on the front of the purifier. Very satisfied with this purchase. ... show more
