    • Emergency backup, flashlight are great for car emergencies. Needs regular outlet adapter though
This should probably be 4.5 stars, because the one flaw I see is it should have a regular plug-in adapter for a regular wall outlet included in the case. It does come with a USB adapter so you can plug it in using any USB outlet or power brick you might have. Perhaps I'm an old timer, but my primary use would likely be in a wall outlet, so that seems like it should have been packed in here so everything is in one spot. That being said, it has a lot of useful cables, including a cigarette lighter adapter, USB-c to USB-A (for charging the unit), and jumper cables. Everything fits neatly in the case provided so you can keep it under your seat or in the trunk. Since this is a lithium-ion battery pack, I would be weary of keeping it in a hot car for very long. When I do keep emergency equipment, I keep it in the trunk that usually stays cooler than the main compartment and I try to park in the shade. My car manufacturer recommends I don't jump other vehicles with my car, so this jump starter means I can still help someone in need without putting my car at any risk or I'm ready to go to help myself. The flashlight works decent, though it's pretty small. The unit charged my iphone 13 pro just fine. I don't have a vehicle that needs to be jumped at the moment, so I couldn't test that aspect, but everything is working as it should so far, including it is now charging via USB on my desktop computer. ... show more

    • Because you don't always have another car lying around
I always have a jumpbox. My driveway is tiny, my car could die in some crowded parking lot or remote trailhead, why not have my own jump riding with me? The issue is my TDI needs serious juice. I have had two other boxes over the years and one of them had to be fully charged to give you one shot. This one claims to start a much larger diesel, so I was interested. However, I wasn't about to run my battery dead to test it, so I did the next best thing, I loaned it to a mechanic friend to test. Now he doesn't see diesels or particularly big blocks, but he did report a single charge comfortably handled several 2.5L turbos, so that's promising. It does come with a nice semi-rigid case, and is pretty idiot-proof to use. The cables themselves are fine, though I wish the clamps were a bit bigger and more robust. It charges off USB-C, which is convenient, and has an intuitive display. It rides with me now, and I will update this review if my diesel puts it to the test l, but if you have a pretty normal displacement gas engine, this will definitely get you up and running. ... show more

    • The tool for everyone that drives a vehicle should have
7Liter gas or 6.5L Diesel 2,200Amp vehicle jumpstarter is a very great item to have in your vehicle at all times. Not only can it jump start your vehicle but also provide compressed air to your tires or be used as a backup battery bank in case of an emergency. What's really cool and that I haven't seen on jump starter devices is the ability to have DC output. This I think is huge because it opens the possibility of using many devices otherwise that are not able to unless your vehicle is running. It does have a LED light built in as well but in my opinion it's not the brightest but surely it's available when you need it most. Overall this is a great tool to have with you anytime you head out driving, if short or long distance this can really make a difference in a tough situation. This is really a nifty little device, good for all kinds of things. It has numerous cables and adapters (cigarette lighter adapter, USB-c to USB-A (for charging the unit), jumper cables) etc. It's especially handy if you need to jump start your car but you're parked out in the boonies with no other cars to assist you. Plus it works well to charge battery-operated devices such as my cell phone (works perfectly even on the latest versions). The flashlight is also handy, as is the strobe version of it, but it is a little small. This is my 2nd battery charger of this type. I have one for each of my vehicles now. This is a lifesaver in the event your car battery dies but it does more than jump your battery. How about charging your phone, laptop, camera and other electronics that use a USB port? This is a game changer! It comes in a VERY nice neoprene zippered carrying case with handle grips. It has compartments to hold the included USB charging cord and jumper cables. It also has a built in flash light for your convenience. With having a tow costing to some much these, why pay all that for just a drained battery? This gives you the ability to get back on the road without all that hassle. And you can charge your phone if you need to as well as having a flashlight in your hand. This is so much in such a small package, and it can be carried very compactly.     • Great piece of mind
This portable jump starter has great directions for jumping the battery in a car. I have another, older portable jump starer and there were no directions. This has some juice and I really appreciate the % full indicator. It is also great at fast charging cell phones or other usb chargeable devices. I have charged both a phone and another device at the same time and this tackles the task easy without using a bunch of its power. I don't use the cigarette lighter attachment so I cannot speak to that but everything else is top-notch, even the case it comes shipped in. ... show more

This portable car jump starter kit is well designed and has been easy to use. It doesn’t take very long to charge and it’s very durable. This has gotten me out of a couple of bad situations. I definitely recommend it.
