I sometimes do projects in resin or fiberglass and can burn through rotary tool sanding drums really quickly, which can get very expensive. So when I saw the BAGTeck 150 Pieces 120 Grit Sanding Band Drums Kit with 12 Piece Drum Mandrels for $8.55 I snapped them up! This is an excellent price for this kind of product and it comes with a decent storage case. The quality of the drum mandrels is on the sloppy side, there's a lot of rubber flashing around them, but they do the job and I can't see the looks of the mandrels mattering much. The sanding drum themselves are also on the sloppy side, but they stand up in-use very well so far and this is the kind of thing that I wear out very quickly sometimes, depending on what material I'm sanding. The case is adequate but really just a generic soft plastic case that could be smaller, if I'm being honest, but it keeps things in one place and that's is nice. Recommended for any hobbyist, especially at this price. PROS: - Excellent price. - Does the job. - Comes with storage case. CONS (minor): - A bit sloppy in manufacturing, but not terrible. ... show more

A really large supply of pretty coarse (120G) sanding drums in three different diameters. My rotary tool is not my 'go to' tool when it comes to sanding or grinding. However, there have been numerous times when my 1/8" collet rotary tool was the perfect tool for the job. It really works well when you have to do intricate sanding or grinding in a confined area or if you need to cut something away without tearing into a nearby part. This kit comes with about 150 sanding drums to fit my rotary tool. These are good quality drums too. They don't wear out and throw the grit off after just a few minutes of use. They cut steel as easy as wood. I found them to be very long lasting as well. The drums are very versatile and work well in many different materials. The abrasive bands go on the mandrels effortlessly and you don't need to tighten the expansion screws very much past just modest tension to keep the bands from slipping. The set includes (6) 1/8 shank mandrels and (5) 3/32 mandrels in addition to all of the bands and everything is furnished in a nice, reclosable plastic case. Good quality at a good price.
