It does a really good job at removing dirt and pet stains. But, doesn't really remove the ground in dirt and I am using the Big Green Machine. It does have a carpet shampoo smell not a floral type smell, Doesn't smell bad and the price beats paying for bigger brand names, especially if you have to shampoo often due to kids and pets. ... show more

I have tried numerous other carpet shampoos over the years. This ZEP product is by far the best so far. Leaves a pleasant Scent. Leaves carpet clean and fresh. The shampoo has taken out stains that others have failed to do.

I have used this product 3 times now because I bought a bulk order. The first time, my carpets didn't come out clean, I assumed I diluted and shouldn't have. Second time, went 50/50 on the solution and still less than stellar results. Today, used full concentrated ZEP carpet cleaning solution and experienced similar results. I suggest buying a smaller bottle to test product for your use rather than doing like I did and buying 4 gallons based on product information. ... show more
