It has not solved my problem with IR light coming through my windows. It still allows some heat to pass through and warm up the interior, although was significantly reduced. Instead, the glass itself became very hot, much hotter than before, so overall it was not effective.

This will work as described, but it's a budget friendly option. If you are wanting something with a perfect mirroring effect, you will need to pay more. This does work though so if you are just looking for an affordable and quick solution for privacy, this will do.

Works well easy to install

I used the tint for a garage window that gets direct sunlight, So far it cut down on the bright sunlight coming through without dimming/darkening the room much. The privacy part of the tint works somewhat I can still see into the tinted window but it dose cut down on visibility. The garage feels cool
er with this tint. Easy to install just clean the windows spray some water and slide it into place. Highly recommend for someone wanting to cut down on direct sunlight without darkening a whole room.

Be careful! It made my glass crack!

Went on fairly easy but be careful! I put this on a East facing round top window a few weeks back. Checked it this morning and the glass was so hot, you could barely touch it! I immediately pulled the tint off the window and found the glass was now cracked!

Don't bother buying, it doesn't work
This is a pic of our front door with the film attached. I wanted a little privacy without actually replacing the whole door. Whenever we have sales people come to the door, I swear they peek in to see if anyone's home. I feel very unsafe. You can still see through the film on both sides of the door.
It's like the film wasn't even applied. We have enough for another application so we may try that but I doubt it will be any better.

My only 2 concerns for giving 3 stars is 1st the very small portion you are getting for the price you're paying, and 2nd the large amount of bubbles it has when you stick it to the window. It is not that easy to put on a window, there was bubbles everywhere. What I liked about it is the thickness and
sturdiness of the film, it is thick and looks like a high quality film. The gluing mechanisim is also great, there is absolutely no glue so it doesn't leave any marks on your hands and windows, but it sticks really good. Would give it 5 stars if it was a little longer or cheaper.

These didn't work at all on my windows. I think they would work if your windows are in the direct sunlight? My windows are shaded by our roof all day so you can see right in. Easy to install but didn't work at all.
