Got this to blackout the back of my fish tanks. It works really well. Much easier and faster than multiple coats of paint. Installing is easy to. Just make sure you use A LOT of soapy water. Squeegee out the bubbles and boom you're good. Looks fantastic. Will purchase again.

When installed properly, this product will serve you well. In order to install properly, I have some tips. 2 people are better than 1. Use enough water on both the glass and the paper. Definitely use some type of squeegee with a light fabric at the end. Squeegee as you go. Any bubbles left behind will dissipate within 48hrs. Pre-cut your pieces!! Easier to handle, and you don’t have to worry about damaging the film in the cutting process. Yes, removing the clear film is not easy but if it takes more than a couple of minutes it speaks more to your abilities than to the product’s detriment. My wife and I did our front doors/ windows and the whole process took less than 45 minutes and came out great. ... show more

    • Disappointing Experience with rabbitgoo Window Privacy Film

My recent encounter with the rabbitgoo Window Privacy Film left much to be desired, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend this product to others seeking window tinting solutions for their homes. First and foremost, the supposed "one-way" feature of the film fell short of expectations. Despite the product description promising privacy from the outside while maintaining visibility from the inside, the reality was far from it. Passersby and neighbors could easily see into the house, compromising the privacy of those inside. Furthermore, while the film claimed to block UV rays and control heat, its effectiveness in doing so was questionable at best. After applying the film to several windows in my home, I noticed little to no difference in temperature or UV protection. On hot, sunny days, the rooms still became uncomfortably warm, and the glare from the sun remained a constant nuisance. The installation process was another source of frustration. Despite following the instructions meticulously, I encountered numerous difficulties in applying the film to the windows. Air bubbles and wrinkles persisted even after multiple attempts to smooth them out, resulting in an unsightly and uneven appearance that detracted from the overall aesthetic of the windows. To make matters worse, the adhesive used in the film left behind a sticky residue on the windows, making them difficult to clean and maintain. Despite my efforts to remove the residue using various cleaning agents, it stubbornly clung to the glass, leaving an unappealing and unsightly finish. Overall, my experience with the rabbitgoo Window Privacy Film was thoroughly disappointing. From its lackluster privacy features to its ineffective UV-blocking and heat control properties, the product failed to deliver on its promises. Coupled with the challenging installation process and the lingering residue left behind, it was an overall frustrating and unsatisfactory purchase. In conclusion, I cannot in good conscience recommend the rabbitgoo Window Privacy Film to others in search of an effective and reliable window tinting solution for their homes.     • Steep learning curve but good if you can get it right

First and foremost I'm an idiot because I thought I was buying static cling film and not a sticky tint-type film. These two products appear one on top of the other in the Rabitgoo store and the text made me think I was choosing the cling-type. My fault for not recognizing they were different. I went with this brand specifically because I'd used some of their other film and it's been absolutely perfect for over 5 years. 3 stars overall because this stuff is kind of a nightmare to deal with but looks great if you can get it right. I wanted to cover storm door glass to fend off the afternoon sun. After cleaning the glass twice and liberally spraying the film and window with water I carefully applied the film to the bottom half of the door. The biggest bubbles were easily worked out with a squeegee and credit card but almost immediately I realized something seemed wrong with some of the tiny bubbles. They had white rings around the edges and wouldn't move like the water bubbles did. Hoping for the best I thought the heat might help these bubbles come out so gave it a day and tried again to work them out, but no luck. Half the glass looked absolutely perfect but the other half was plagued with these bubbles. From inside they weren't all that horrible, but when looking at the mirrored side from outside it looked like a disaster. Unfortunately this is not a peel and restick product and I hadn't ordered enough to redo the bottom and finish the top so I ultimately ended up peeling the bottom off and going with a totally different product. I'm not happy about wasting money but I don't think it was the product that was at fault. If I had enough product I definitely would have tried again but didn't want to sink more money into something I couldn't be sure would work. ... show more
