    • Great product for my dislocated lumbar discs! Works better than the two prescribed braces I've had!
I'm 45, and I've had a issues with my back since I was 19. I slouch often due to the pain in my lumbar spine from dislocated discs and because of the counterweight from my size DD chest. I'm on pain management, so I've been prescribed a couple of types of braces. Once, I was prescribed a clavicle brace, which was awkwardly uncomfortable. It was 100% unbeneficial and did not work at all. Not to mention, the design was not very intuitive, and I could not even put it on by myself. A few years later, I was prescribed a $1500 back brace, which also did not work. I could put it on myself and it was more comfortable than the clavicle brace, but no matter where I positioned it or how tight I made it, it provided absolutely no support. The other day, I began reading a lot of Amazon reviews, looking for some sort of back brace to help my posture which would help elevate some of the pain in my back. I'm on enough pain pills and pain patches to kill a horse, yet I still have pain. Instead of increasing my doses, I was hoping there was something else I could try - a last ditch effort before asking my doctor to increase my pain meds. This back brace is great! It is not as constricting or as uncomfortable as the two prescribed braces I've owned. It holds my posture upright and is easy to put on and easy to adjust. The material is soft and smooth, which helps tremendously with the comfort. I am so thankful for this back brace! It does hurt a little bit (more like 'sore' than 'hurt', I suppose) around the front of the underarm area (the area where the brace goes underneath your arm), but it helps if you wear a shirt with sleeves underneath the brace. With any device that is pulling on your body, it is going to 'dig' into your skin a little and cause soreness, so I'm not surprised by the 'digging' sensation. It's not enough to bother me or to make me want to return it, especially with a shirt on underneath the brace. A shirt makes the soreness almost nonexistent. In the end, the brace definitely does its job, and it does it well - a lot better than the expensive, prescription braces I've owned. Overall, I am very satisfied and very pleased with this brace. If something were to happen to it, like if I left it on vacation or something, I'd buy another one in a heartbeat! ... show more

TLDR: I recommend this brace 100%. It’s perfect for reminding me to keep my back straight, and it’s teaching my body to stay like that even after I take the brace off. I’m happy I bought it and I’m happy with the price. I wanted a posture corrector so bad because I’m already getting one of those awful neck humps at age 19 😭 I desperately wanted to fix my posture because I slouch all the time. Glued to my phone, always looking down, part of the Gen Z phone addiction club. I get stuck doom scrolling often which means I’m slouching and looking down half the time. I got this brace and I appreciate how comfy it is. It’s not the comfiest thing ever, but it’s comfy for what it is and I’m still getting great use out of it without discomfort. I can wear it for a couple hours and then I get a little annoyed and take it off, but it’s still done its job so far. I haven’t worn it in a couple weeks but I wore it before that and within like 3 days I noticed I was sitting up straight all on my own without the brace. I think it’s 100% a mind muscle connection thing. When I slouch I don’t notice I’m slouching, but with the brace on, it’s a constant reminder to straighten my back and pull my shoulders back. Let me be clear, this brace will NOT change your poster FOR you all on its own. This brace is more of a corrector for how you should be sitting. I still have the ability to slouch in this brace if I want to, not as much as I can without it, but I still can a bit. The little bit of pressure on my shoulders is my reminder to keep them back, and so when I take it off after a couple hours, I’m used to keeping my shoulders back and I do it by myself without the brace. My point is, though, that you can’t expect your posture to get better if you slouch when you take it off. It’s extremely helpful for building the habit of sitting up straight, and that’s what I’m using it for. I highly recommend it! Overall the product does what it says, helps with posture. I purchased because I tried a friend's product that was similar but different design--kind of like a butterfly shape with thick straps that pull the shoulders back. The one I tried on was a man's size that I wore over a sweatshirt. For reference I am 5'6" and 140lb, 34 C bra size and I ordered a S/M. My main problem with posture seems to be hunching my shoulders forward. This product accomplishes that to an extent, but with sacrifices to comfort. The straps are more thin and pliable, which make it more difficult to pull the shoulders back. So to compensate I adjust the straps to be tighter, which then make my armpits uncomfortable. I absolutely didn't like it while wearing a bra, as it pushed it into my skin too much. It was more comfortable with no bra, a tshirt and light sweater. So I wouldn't wear it under clothes to an office. I will probably continue to wear it for shorter periods of time than I intended, but wish I had chose a differently designed product. ... show more
