  • Wonderful Value for the Price
Size: Foot Speed Control Color: Blue-11inch
This is a great beginner wheel. It’s very short so I made a stand for it to lift it up about 10 inches. I prefer to throw sitting down but you could put this on a table and throw standing up. I have only thrown about 2 pounds but that’s enough for a mug or small vase so it’s a great place to start. I love the black handled trimming tools which really add value to this wheel. The splash pan is a little flimsy and I’m not sure how long it will last but so far it comes off easy for cleaning. I love that the wheel head is slightly bigger than most beginning wheels. It doesn’t have bat pin holes so you have to throw directly on the wheel. Overall this is a great value for the beginner potter to get in some practice ... show more

I really like this wheel but my pedal will not allow me to stop the wheel. I must use switch. I have emailed Vevor so we will see what they have to say. I am anxious to use it. It seems very sturdy and has quite a lot of speed. I think it’s well worth the money

  • Great for beginners
Size: 2.6in/3.9in Color: Blue-3.9inch
New to the pottery world, like didn’t even take it in high school new. I spent a lot of time researching until I landed on this wheel. 1. Great wheel if you’re just starting pottery like myself. It’s a good wheel to figure out if this is something you really want to pursue as a hoppy. 2. I didn’t realize just HOW small this wheel was. I mean the plate is as big as the palm of my hand. But it’s still good to start out with to get techniques down prior to a large purchase. 3. Wheel can spin either way, quick to set up, and relatively quick to clean up. 4. The kit provides you with a ton of tools you need to start out with. CONS 4. I wish it had suction cupped feet to secure it to the table. 5. As seen in pictures, it can get really messy. I do wish it had a larger catch area. Overall - great if you’re a beginner. Just know it’s very small and it’s going to be a learning curve vs starting with a full size wheel. ... show more

  • It’s a start
Size: 14in Color: Blue
The packaging was in good shape when it came. The bat is bent. Still usable but a slight bend. Save your money buy something a little better quality.

  • It Breaks the First Time
Size: 2.6in/3.9in Color: Blue-3.9inch
This wheel claims it can handle up to 2.2 pounds of clay. I used 1 pound of clay and it broke the speed control. The wheel spun at maximum speed and I couldn't slow it. Anyone who knows how to use a wheel knows that you can't properly make something with it going at full force. Even for the low price it's not worth it if you can't use it. ... show more

  • Excellent Tiny Wheel for the Price
Size: 2.6in/3.9in Color: Blue-3.9inch
This review is from my experience personally and as a pottery instructor. I have not been compensated in any way by the seller or company. I love this tiny wheel. First, if you are considering buying this wheel or saving a few dollars by buying a similar looking wheel, buy this one. I bought this one for myself and then tested an identical looking model for a class that I was teaching, and this one is far more powerful. There are (much) more expensive tiny wheels out there, but this will meet the needs of the majority of people looking for a tiny wheel. That said, please adjust your expectations for what a tiny wheel should be able to do. If you place a finger firmly on the wheel, you can stop the wheel. If you have experience throwing on a regular wheel, you will need to learn how to center without putting pressure on the wheel head. It is not perfect. It sounds like a tiny chainsaw. The splash pan is very small and will still allow some splashing. The tools included are normal sized tools. (Make a tiny pottery tool kit, Vevor!) Ultimately, I would buy this wheel again, and I recommend it to my students who are interested in tiny potting. You can’t have more fun at this price point. Happy potting! ... show more

  • Excellent Value!
Size: 2.6in/3.9in Color: Blue-3.9inch
Sturdy little machine. My 9 year old son has started getting into pottery and has really enjoyed using this. Along with being a solid machine, it comes with an array of accessories for wheel and hand building creations. I do wish the base was a little bigger, but you really can't beat it for the price and quality. It's relatively easy to clean as the pieces come apart. ... show more

  • Started ok, now it doesnt spin flat
Size: Foot Speed Control Color: Blue-11inch
Seemed pretty decent at first, just using it to throw 1-2 lb cups and bowls, but after only a few weeks quickly developed a wobble in the wheel head, not just the wheel head but the whole metal housing is flexing as the wheel spins. Maybe i got a bad one? Maybe the larger 300w 35cm with the 3 legs is more ridged and heavy duty? really want to recommend this for beginners and those making smaller items but just doesn't seem stable enough for consistent results. The tools it comes with are very low quality, most of them broke after only using a couple of times, the black handled tools don't work very well, maybe if i sharpen them it will be better. ... show more
