Easy to put together and take apart, comes with travel bag and the shelf is able to come apart too. I’m super tall (~6’0) and this stand is literally perfect. Not only comes up high enough but stays stable with music books on it. Super happy with this thing

This stand is nice and sturdy. I like that it disassembles easily for storage. And it has its own carrying case! It’s no heavier to carry than my old plastic/metal stand. I couldn’t give it 5 stars even though I really wanted to. The back isn’t large enough to accommodate my leather music folder when it’s open. My group plays many times at outdoor venues, weather permitting. My fear is that a gust of wind wouldn’t knock my stand over but will grab my music folder and cause my music to go flying. We purchased this stand for our daughter in law's birthday. She plays the flute and had been practicing while seated on a piano bench. The stand arrived on time as promised. Our son assembled it without referencing any instructions, so it is pretty straightforward. It comes with a nice case which is also sturdy.
