I think this might be exactly what I need for getting my tension correct on my A-1 Quilting Machine; however, I sent the first one back as it appeared that the first pulley was set in at a slant. The tension appeared to read correctly, but I did go ahead and asked to exchange for a new one. The replacement came in exactly the same. Has anyone else noticed this about the gauge you purchased? This meter works well and makes setting up a long-arm sewing machine's tensions much easier. It also works well for testing used bobbin carriers to see how evenly they work. Just remember that it is specific for a certain bobbin carrier size.

This has got to be one of the best investments I have made for tools for my longarm quilting. The tension is spot on each time. I haven't had to make any adjustments to my tension when I use the Towa. I set mine to about 250 tension on the Towa and it has been perfect each time. Prior to purchasing this tool I was always having to play around with my tensions, which honestly was extremely frustration. I don't have that issue anymore. Don't know why I didn't get one sooner.
