I was outside when it arrived & was handed it directly. Yet it STILL was slightly damaged! The top was slightly bent. But otherwise it's perfect! It puts out great cold air with plenty of power. It's worth purchasing but your taking your chances if "FedEx" delivers it. Which by the way is way to expensive for shipping costs! (The unit is in an attic window. Absolutely HORRIBLE. The machine blows out WARM air. I’ve had the machine running for a few days, I thought maybe I just needed to let it run for a bit but NOPE. It’s still blowing our warm air during 80° weather outside. I asked for a replacement or a refund and they are refusing to send a replacement unless I send them a photo of me CUTTING the cord to the broken one instead of sending it back for them to fix. I had a smaller one that barely did anything on the highest setting, barely felt it blowing. I got this one (10,000 btu) and it is the best, living in my camper full time it gets really hot during the summer, and this ac unit deals with the heat.
