Exactly what they say they are, and work as intended. I bought these and a bed extender to use with my 16’ canoe when hauling with my truck. The bed on my truck is only 5-1/2’ so there was no way I was going to get my canoe to water. Now, I lay the canoe across the cab of my truck supported with the bed extender and strap it down. Good product. Not just for canoes, I transported a 28 foot aluminum ladder on a 200 mile trip and these puppies did great. Would recommend. A bit expensive but couldn't find too many alternatives. Note: I bought two packs so I would have four blocks, to for front and two for back. I would probably not recommend these unless you double up. ... show more

Works great for the canoe on our Wrangler. I don’t know if it says in the description but there is a non slip layer on the flat side of the pad. It’s good for keeping everything in place but makes adjustments difficult once the boat is on the roof. Love that they’re grey and not the bright blue as well. ... show more

Worked great for a 175 mile trip with a 16 foot canoe. They are kind of hard to see in the photo, but I used 2 blocks on both sides in the front of the canoe. No issues on the trip, they didn't slide or move with everything cranked down. And they still look like new. We'll see how many uses I can get out of them over the years. ... show more

I remember using these as a kid in Scouts to transport canoes. Well I finally have a canoe of my own and still use these (and a few ratchet straps of course) to move my canoe with my car. (You will need 2 pair of these to transport a canoe!)

I lost one of my canoe blocks on a trip and ordered these. The problem is since they are blocks, they should have 3 dimensions(length x width x height). They only have 2 dimensions and when I got them I noticed that they were shorter in height then my original ones. They will still work but they are not the same as my other ones. ... show more

Very thick and strong cushions for the canoe. Only two to a package. Two works for me, but if using them for car top, may need four.
