  • The Poseidon Angler paddle is made of a two-piece anti-slip grip aluminum shaft and fiberglass reinforced polypropylene blades. This ensures better durability and performance on the water and offers an excellent value for money.
  • This fishing paddle includes an integrated hook retrieval system directly into the blade and a high visibility measurement tape along the shaft that will allow you to measure your catch.
  • The Poseidon Angler paddle offers a unique ergonomic shaft design that helps with indexing. The right side of the shaft changes from a rounded shape to a slightly oval shape that tells you where to place your hand. This promotes proper technique that reduces wrist fatigue.
  • The push button system allows the blades to be feathered with a 0/65 angle. Paddling with offset blades will reduce the wind resistance on the top blade as it moves through the air. This ensures an optimized and more comfortable paddling experience.
  • Inside the paddle, there are 2 additional flotation blocks allowing the paddle to float. This way, you will have no problem retrieving your paddle if it ends up in the water.

I have the Life-time 10' kayak. This is the perfect paddle for a "sit on top" kayak. It was packaged well and arrived undamaged. Has multiple holes in the pole where the two ends connect together so you can off set the paddles if you want. I tried several different settings, but eventually went back to a straight alinement. It worked best for me. The shaft is bent in a little on one shaft so you can easily adjust your grip without having to constantly look at the ends to see if you have it in your hands correctly... great feature usually only found on much spendier paddles. The shaft has some kind of coating that makes griping easier as well. The thing I most cared about is the length. The paddle that came with the kayak was way too short and I would get soaked as I paddled because I had to lift the paddle so far out of the water for each stroke. The Pelican Poseidon is a full foot longer and has drip rings on each end to prevent "drip back" as you paddle. No more soaking! Well worth the purchase price... would buy again! ... show more

I works OK, but it's heavy. The quality is fine however the two halve don't fit very tight so there is a little wobble. Since I don't take is apart much I just added a few layers of paint so that it's a tight fit. Good length for my Old Town Sportsman PDL 120. You can get a kayak paddle almost anywhere. This one has a couple unique features worth paying attention to. First off the little cutout shaped like a J does not look like something you should care about. That thing helped me untangle lures for lily pads about half a dozen times the other day. It has 90 degree corners that allow you to grab onto stuff and pull your kayak where you want it. Also there are three holes that allow you to set the angle a bit to make getting the correct paddling form easier. Built tough. I did not worry about breaking it when pushing off banks or paddling. It is robust and light at the same time, being the best option (bang for buck) when compared to a carbon fiber paddle. I’m quite tall (6’8”) and it sits perfectly in my hands, allowing to roar fast. Additionally, it looks great!
