This gazebo is beautiful. Sturdy and well made. We have no complaints at all. You do need at least two people especially when assembling the frame and roof. The roof was time consuming. It does take time but the instructions are very good. Purple leaf gave us amazing customer service. They contacted us through the whole process asking if delivery was on time, if we needed assistance or guidance with the assembly, and followed up to see how the assembly went. They were fantastic!!!! Which is rare these days. We would most definitely recommend them and we would buy from them again. On a side note there are videos to watch to help with assembly. It’s only been a day and we received many compliments on the gazebo. You won’t be sorry !!! ... show more

We purchased in March 2024, received the items from UPS within a week. Opened boxes and inventoried the items. 1 piece, K1, a inside roof panel had a broken bracket. Purple Leaf replaced it in 2 days. Myself (a 66 yr old, and a 40 yr old handyman installed the gazebo in 6 hrs. Mostly him. Just make sure you have posts and frame squared up, and install should be easy. It's a lot of bolts, nuts and such. Must have hex drill bit, or it will take much longer. We love how it looks, and the quality is excellent. We would recommend to anyone considering the purchase. BTW, purple leaf gave me nothing for this review. We received the gazebo about a week after ordering it. It came in 5 boxes. The company did send an email letting us know it was coming and how many boxes we could expect. Once it arrived, we went through every box and inventoried the contents. Nothing was bent, everything was there. We then grouped all of the screws and parts into individual plastic containers. I put a piece of tape on top of each container and marked with a sharpie what was in it; ex: #7 screws, #S, etc. This made it so much easier once we started to put it together. My husband (72) and myself (65) put it together. It took about 22 hours over 4 days from the first inventory to anchoring it onto the deck. We didn't rush it, just worked on it in groups of time. Hubby put the posts together in the garage (it was raining that day) and there was only one hiccup. One of the screws wouldn't fit into the hole as the hole had been drilled about 1/8 inch off. He redrilled it. The next day, we took the posts out to the deck and using ladders, we were able to connect it. Putting the very top tier on was a bit tricky, but I stood on the second to top rung of the ladder in the middle, and held it up while he connected and screwed it to the sides. We knew the roof would be a long day and it was. I was on the inside ladder under the roof, he was on the outside one. It wasn't hard, just a lot of parts and screws, and lining up everything. The Z clips would fall off if you didn't wiggle it in perfectly on the first try, so off the ladder one of us would go and re-connect. But all the screws and holes lined up just fine, do remember not to tighten anything until it's all done, especially the middle beam. We found that when putting the first middle pieces on, it helped to hold the first piece in with a #5, then put the second piece on top. Otherwise the two middle pieces would slide around when trying to overlap. Once done, hubby went under our deck and put up thick pieces of wood between the joists for extra support. He then used 3 inch lag screws to anchor it to the deck. Hopefully it will stand up to the winter winds we get up here. We'll see. We do have a lot of trees in our yard, and after watching a few videos regarding the gutters getting clogged and having to use a screwdriver to remove the debris, I decided to run screening along the top. I purchased 2-inch sticky screen repair (it comes in rolls) and ran that all along the top where the roof meets the gutter. Water can still get in, but the leaves and other debris won't. As you can see from the photos, pollen from the trees is already starting to get on the roof. All in all, it seems like a well built gazebo. The netting is very nice, the roof seems sturdy. I purchase a 10x14 for the backyard. Was shipped quickly, came in 6 separate boxes same day. Instructions were clear, my husband and I spent the weekend building the gazebo (probably a total of 10 hours). Unfortunately we did have to create a few of our own holes to complete the roof. The roof inserts were the toughest for sure, the alignment was tricky and took the most time. But it’s definitely doable with 2 people. One other annoying factor was that many hardware pieces were loose in the packaging. Looks good and the quality is good too. Definitely happy with this purchase ... show more

First of all we live our new gazebo. It looks beautiful and seems very well made. We got the 12x16 and it fits a 7 piece conversation set with large fire table and there is still plenty of space to move around. We installed a fan, lights, and 50” TV and it has been so nice to hang out with friends and family. The mosquito netting is very thick and seems like it will last a long time… we have had other gazebos with very thin netting that ripped very easily, I don’t see that happening with this netting at all. I do wish it came with the privacy screen.. but I like that there is still a double track in case we wish to install one. Overall we are very happy with our purchase. Oh, and the wood-look aluminum looks so good! I’m really glad we decided to go with this instead of a cedar one that would end up needing more maintaining. This is a beautiful product. ... show more

After becoming frustrated with the roof panels, customer service sent more instructions and video to help us. They then followed up to make sure everything was completed. They also assisted me with purchasing the curtain for the gazebo. I cannot say enough good things about them! As far as the gazebo, it is great quality, beautiful. It was challenging to build, but 100% worth it! We have ours bolted into concrete footers under pavers, so it shouldn’t go anywhere in a storm! ... show more

Well put together, easy instruction by pohto's (hint don't tighten screws untill step is done). One drawback the privacy curtains are not included. They need to be bought seperatly if required. Excelent, helpfull service department. I can see this gazebo is far better than my prievious canvase one. It withstood 62mph gust without a shake. ... show more
