We just finished putting this together and are very happy with the quality of the gazebo. It’s very sturdy once completely assembled. We had a little delay with shipping because our phone number was never provided to the warehouse so I had track it down and call them but they did deliver it the next day. I highly recommend having at least two people assemble this. Everything was labeled clearly and all the screw holes lined up perfectly but when it came time to lift the wooden frame, the product is very unsteady until all the framing is connected and with only two of us, it almost fell and could have easily split the wood. The directions are very easy to follow and again everything was labeled perfectly and slid right into place. It took 2 of us a weekend to put it together but we’re very happy with the finished product. I would highly recommend this gazebo. ... show more

This product was unbelievable. It was packaged so well and delivered right to our patio. The instructions were amazing if you carefully studied them. Everything was labeled and the building of the structure was relatively easy. My wife and I are both in our 70s and I'm proud to say we put this beautiful gazebo up ourselves, without anybody else's assistance and did it relatively quickly. It only took about a week and that included regular senior citizen activities such as rest periods, naps, doctor visits, grandchildren ballgames, etc. Good job SunJoy!     • Great Gazebo - Requires Skills to Assemble
This gazebo is beautiful, extremely strong and well designed. But definitely not for amateurs to assemble. I am a high-level home improvement guy, and I brought in a skilled handyman to put this together. Between us, we had all the necessary tools and three different sizes of ladders, and lots of experience assembling complex structures. And that's what you need. Most of the hundreds of screws for assembly have hex heads. Yes, you can use the little wrenches that come with the kit. But you really need a pair of drivers to speed the work and get the torque right. And it takes two strong people to put it all together. ... show more

This is a major project to do your self. I eventually had four other people besides myself to construct this. It comes on a long narrow pallet and weighs over 650 pounds. The truck driver rolled the pallet on a jack to behind the security fence--thank God! We started by assembling the wooden posts and upper frame (also wood). I let go of my post to help someone else and the thing fell down. It broke 4 boards. I called Amazon to get replacements but all they could offer was to return it and give a refund, since there were no more in stock. I decided to mill the replacement boards myself. I bought 3 clear cedar 1"X6"X8' boards at Home Depot at an additional cost of $78. I brought them home and sawed the joints and new mounting holes. So, we were behind one day. (Note: China must have true 1" lumber, which we do not, so I had to adjust the joints to fit smoothly.) The rest of the build went without issue. We worked about 4 hours a day (since were all over retirement age). We completed the project in four days. Lots of screws and bolts!!! I would advise using power tools. After it was finished we had winds in our area 30-40 mph with gusts around 50 mph. We watched it very carefully, since we did not yet have it anchored to the patio. It survived well. However, the wind did raise the metal panels at the joints just slightly. And I would recommend using screws at the top of the first section of metal panels. They give you plastic plugs to join the panels together, but they are not strong enough for wind prone areas. Our patio is big (25' deep by over 50' wide), and it slopes to allow for rain runoff. You may notice that some of the holes do not line up perfectly because of the slope. We got them all in, but it took a little finesse. You also may notice that the posts have a slight lean because of that slope as well. Overall, it is a wonderful gazebo and should last several generations. ... show more

Never been a huge fan of Chinese products, however I could not be more pleased. Every part was well marked and ALL piece’s fit together perfectly! I put this together by myself, took about 16 hrs. Total. Highly recommend!!

Gazebo arrived early, and was a breeze to assemble. Was able to do myself in about 6 hours. Well packaged and easy to follow instructions. Organization is key. Longest part of assembly was laying out on patio, and ensuring square. Posts have about 9/16 hole bore in base. Was able to drill and install 3' rebar dowels in patio once layout was chalked. This allowed each pist to be stood up individually, making it a much simpler one person job. Cross members could be assembled and pinned in place, rather than having to stand up sectionals. Assembly of metal skeleton frame for roof panels is tedious, going up and down ladder continuously, and easiest with a few ladders. Panels were a breeze. Having everything laid out is key, as well as going through instructions completely before start. Have since added attached torches and solar powered canopy light. Posts are assembled wood, and not solid. Prevents cracking, and warping - plus makes manageable to lift. Much easier with impact driver. Has already weathered heavy rains and winds with no issues. Very pleased for the money. ... show more
