First off, just want to say regardless if you have back pain or not you should get this product. Why? Because we all slouch and could use the support. (I know I don't want to have a hunchback when I'm older) So really anyone could benefit from this... My reason for getting it is because I had a car accident last year and have been having issues with back pain ever since. I received my back brace about a week ago and I love it so far! This product is more comfortable and you have more mobility as opposed to the back brace you get from your insurance company. It's also small so you can feel comfortable using it at home or when you're out and about. In the few days that I have been using the brace I have noticed that it does help and remind me to stand straight as well as supports my back. Pain has lessoned and I am squirming less on my work chair throughout the day. There is an adjustable strap so you can control how much tension you want. Overall would recommend this product. I have had issues with my back for a couple of years and have purchased many products but they haven't worked as well as I would like them too. I came across this brace and so I decided to purchase it to give it a shot to see if it would help. What I can say is that I have seen a big difference in my posture! I slowly work my way to increase the time that I use it because it is something to get use to as it forces you to correct your posture but now when I don't have it on I find myself consciously correcting myself without it. :) ... show more

I really like this brace. It is easy to put on and easy to adjust your size. I ordered it because I had hip problems and my shoulders were getting so rounded that I had to do something and I looked up the braces and this one was the best one that I thought was ideal for me, and it certainly has proven itself. It is not uncomfortable it took me two or three times to adjust it to exactly the way I wanted it the first time I put it on, but then now I can put it on with ease. It definitely works but is tight on my waist. If I loosen it the Velcro wants to unfasten. If I wear it tight it works.

It fits tight and snug which feels good and supportive. I'm not sure the recommended time to wear it in one sitting, but I usually wear it for a while (i.e. 1-2 hours) and so it can start to feel too tight. I've also worn it underneath a smock/jacket while working which was fine. I do suffer from upper back pain and so improper posture will make my back hurt very easily/quickly, so this back support has helped.
